Following your feedback, we’re also trialling a number of new aspects:
The natural landscape of this location means you'll be surrounded by nature at its finest. Pandy Club Campsite itself is a level, luscious green site, scattered with impressive mature trees, located at the western boundary of the River Honddu. Visitors to the park are treated to the majestic Skirrid, which greets all early risers with its imposing presence. Abergavenny is a treat for all newcomers with its ancient castle being a particular highlight and a food festival that takes place in September. The site is also well placed for visiting the county town of Hereford on the River Wye, with its beautiful cathedral and range of shops and places to eat.
Walks, whether guided or unguided (the Bannau Brycheiniog/Brecon Beacons National Park produces a useful list) prove rewarding as there are no less than seven pubs within 2 miles of the caravan site with the nearest a mere 50 yards stroll away. The area is also noted for fine dining, including a Michelin Star restaurant.
Historical buildings characterise the area, which speak of the unsettled and sometimes battle-torn history of the borders. Magnificent views can be found at the Symonds Yat Rock with breathtaking sights over the lazy River Wye. The site is situated 0.5 miles from the Offas Dyke path and 10 miles from Blaenavon World Heritage Centre.
