Covid 19 and membership

As all sites and CC approved sites have been suspended for 3 months (30th June) are we to expect the CMHC to suspend all memberships for 3 months.? My membership is due in July so I'm a bit loathed to not be able to use it and go anywhere only to be hit with a renewal as the suspension is lifted.

Moderator Comment - This post has been locked as it has gone way off topic and now only seems to be a vehicle for some to have a pop at other posters. The thread has been reported to the Community Manager who may decide to reopen having reviewed the thread and when deletions of the offending posts have been made.

It’s not a problem if someone has a different view , just saying sorry to TW as he said my examples were irrelevant, I must be be factual

I simply pointed out your examples were irrelevant because they weren't comparing like with like, Husky.

Although there was really no need to apologise for citing points which you thought appropriate and I didn't, this is a frequent occurrence and your apology is most welcome and accepted.

I think that there is a lot of wishful thinking out there, and I can't see that the sites will only be closed for 3 months.I think those at HO are delusional in believing that they will go able to open the sites by 1at July. Maybe by 1 Ju!y 2021!!

Possibly in a limited way by September. Perhaps only 50% occupancy to aid social distancing. Perhaps on a regional basis. We can but hope.😀

I want a refund on my unused membership for the period of the lockdown. I am currently on part time hours and my partner has no income because her company recently making her redundant. So this means that we are having to pay our bills, mortgage & buy food etc on 25% of what we were earning only a few months ago. Right now I DONT GIVE A MONKEYS ABOUT THE CLUBS FINANCES but I am really scared on how we will make ends meet & most importantly pay our mortgage over the coming months. I'm guessing 3 months refund of membership fees would be about £12.50 which is about the amount we set aside to feed ourselves for 2 days.

Then you need to apply to your bank/mortgage company for the freeze that the government says needs to be done. My son has just done this and applied for the furlough as well.

It's members individual circumstances that dictate their view on the membership cost, I personally am not bothered and have forgotten the hardship that we had many years back, but if I were in your position then I would say the exact opposite.

Read up on all you are entitled to, best of luck, I hope things work out for you.
