Just imagine if it was possible to have an interactive app linked to GPS that could give real live data and direction linked to a moving map.

if only it was possible to plug your device into a battery pack or plug it into a USB in the car 😉

Are battery pack re-generating?

...you know what I've never found a lead long enough to take up the fells with me with.
That's when you take a battery pack with you. They're only cheap to buy and not much difference in size to your phone .... I'm sure you'd find a pocket to put one in.
Are battery pack re-generating?
🤔 no idea what you mean 🤷♂️ You charge it at home & plug your device into it when it needs charging and depending on the size of the battery pack depends how many times it'll charge your device/phone. Or you can buy one with a solar panel if that's what you were hinting at.

Amazing, I wish I knew about these
Fear not PO we do carry spare battery packs when going out but they won't last forever, Solar power can slow down the discharge but it won't fully charge. My solar powered GPS watch is like that, using the solar power does give extra 'range', a lot of extra range in the summer, but eventually it will need plugging in.
Except when it's raining or dark or foggy of course. And that's when you'll need it the most.

Just been chatting to one of our elderly caravanning friends, he has been a member for 39 years but is now thinking of not re joining this year.
The reason is he doesn't do internet and relies solely on the Handbook, however this year he's not happy because the book doesn't give the costings across the seasons, it only gives the price at the cheapest time of year. Last year he managed to get a list from the club so he would know when planning his trips, when the seasons change and what cost he would be looking at.
He has phoned the club to see if he can get a list again this year but the answer was NO they are not doing one. The person he spoke to said he would just have to phone up each time to get a price. Not very helpful. Can you imagine how many times you would have to keep phoning when putting a tour together. By the time you get all the information you need the pitches will be gone.
So they will lose a member of 39 years, not really a friendly customer based club, who say they value its members.
