OS map Grid Refs gone!!

Is there a good reason why the new Club Sites Directory is not showing OS Grid Refs?

Surely I can't be the only member who still likes to see exactly where I will be towing to?

Google Maps sometimes does not show the CL / field clearly. A pinpoint location with the OS map sorts that out. Or rather, it did.

A black mark for the CL dept at the Club. Could do better.

I have not searched right through the thread, so apologies if I suggest an idea already put up.

Surely the Club can easily collate a pdf spreadsheet listing all the CLs by their number and giving their OS references and make this available on the website.

We who need this can then simply download it to our mobiles or whatever we individually use, or if designed as a printer friendly sheet simply do a hard copy if that's the users preferred format.

Seems to me a self evident way to make the best of a poor decision where the goals of those who changed the handbook remain as is but those of us who would like the references have our own off line listing.

Those who are not into technology or not have internet access could request a posted print off copy, or ask a friend, but in reality the number involved must these days be minimal not to be a burden on the club.

If it is done, can it include the whole OS reference [alphanumerical] and Landranger sheet number please, makes it so user friendly.

Well, progress of a sort. We have received our printed price list booklet, but sadly no list of OS references to go with it.

I have converted the Longitude/Latitude co-ordinates into OS grid reference and put it on Google Drive for anyone wanting to view and/or download the file, it's in Word format DOCX and 44 pages, I can do the older DOC file if needed.

Fantastic effort Metheven, including all the address details rather than simply a list against the CL listing number.

Does your database allow you to numberically list by the CL listing number?

My thoughts are this will allow an immediate correlation with the map, though I realise one can "search" by post code and make the link back via the handbook.

But again thanks great effort, that ought to have been for the Club that much less a task with the database to hand.

Great work Metheven, well done.

A further question, if not by CL Reference Number, can the list be sorted by either alphabetically by site name, or by county?

My goodness me Metheven how on earth did you manage to do that? Must have been a labour of love.
