I read elsewhere that C&CC are closing some sites and cancelling people’s bookings due to staff shortages. Sure enough, it's true and they've updated their website today. I hope nobody here is affected.

The fact that the Treble "C" has closed sites surely has to be seen, as being a responsible employer. Firstly, for not expecting a site to be managed without the correct level of staffing. Secondly, it probably means the smaller sites closing and staff moving to support the larger sites where the staff shortages are greatest.

agreed Mark. a post from Slindon site, following chat with warden there says that 10 smaller sites are closing to move the staff to bigger sites where shortages are more acute.

People have asked me in the past 'What's the difference between the 2 clubs.

We've been happy to use either club's sites to get a pitch where & when we wanted, we tend to use both clubs excellent 5 van networks, because we don't rely on facilities blocks.

It's extremely sad to hear that some C&CC may be temporarily closed part of this season , hopefully next year will be completely different for us all.

I've always said not much really.... until this year. 🤔

If we have to drop a club off our expenditure outlays in the future coming years..... here's a clue which it could possibly be.
