Charging electric vehicles on club pitches

Whilst a club site I observed a fellow caravaner charging his vehicle via the external socket of his caravan, is this procedure conducive with the guidance given on site leaflets "that the use of electricity should be considered to help minimise our effect on the environment", additional should extra charges be made for carrying out such procedure.

Was my post disrespectful?

I am certain the Club are aware and irrespective of the few views on here, they will make a decision. If we don't like it we have an option open to us all.

Far from it, like I said everyone has there own views and we should respect that.

Yes embarassed, it was as Tw mentioned. I realised by re-reading a previous post that I may have misquoted a member, so I edited my post but not before it was quoted afterwards in its original form.

Everythings good ....... I think ....... if I eventually got it right innocent

Ah, but I'm now hurt and offended 😙😎😉.

As for charging EV's on site, I think CC Ltd should invite a charging point provider to install, and run points on each site and allow them to charge those who want a charge, plus pay CC Ltd a fee much the same as Air Angel, i.e outsource the service as many LA's do.

well yes in principal but look what happened when the club got an outside provider AirAngel to do its wifi?

I can imagine if the system doesn't run properly it will be the club who gets the flak?

But then a lot of work on sites ,that in the past was carried out by the wardens is now contracted to outside suppliers, hence the "problems some find on sites with O,O,O equipment waiting for enough jobs to make it "viable?" to call the "contractor"undecidedsurprised
