That’ll be a radio prog then ET. Was TV invented in them days๐ค. I remember Grandpa telling tales of when they’d huddle around the radio to listen to stuff back in the day๐๐ป. I guess this Jack Hargreaves was from them days. Times move on. . .Gladly๐๐ป๐๐ป๐

I’ve come to appreciate American dramas a bit more these last few years. Loved Hill Street Blues right from the very first episode, that can be seen on Channel Four iplayer, All4 I think it is called. Loved the American version of House of Cards, Spacey can’t half act, regardless of his other alleged predilections.

just hearing (and sometimes seeing) the intro to Hill street blues just takes me back to watching it on a late Thursday night (after 10?) at home before I moved out to Hull.
Of course in those days you had to watch things when they were broadcast.
