It just amazes me that covidiots like Martin and O'Leary can hold so much store amongst some of our population!

Although the UK's figures are terrible, your statement is incorrect, or your maths are not as good as you think.  https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

UK 1564

Germany 1201

Italy 507

Spain 195

France 229

Total 2132

Edit

3 day totals

UK 3336.        Others 6355

Also the "British" variant / mutation is not quiet so advanced in Europe yet.

In reference to your first paragraph,

When you consider that the UK deaths for today are greater than the combined totals of Germany, Italy France and Spain, you realise that we could hardly do worse.

Conquering this awful pandemic is not a competition and throughout this discussion I have focused solely on what is happening in the UK.

We have been told, that, per head of population the UK is doing better than anywhere else in Europe.

So, out of interest, 3336 out of the UK population against 6355 for the combined population of Germany, Italy, France and Spain. Which works out "best" per head of population?  undecided

We have been told, that, per head of population the UK is doing better than anywhere else in Europe.

What was that in relation to?

If it was related to vaccinations then The UK is ahead of the rest of Europe. But without knowing what it is otherwise related to I have no idea.

Not sure who you mean but if it's the one I found on YouTube I found him very irritating yell.  15 seconds was enough for me! smile

It will annoy you I have no doubt, he’s a person who deals in facts, stats, truth & he deeply cares about the health care professionals & sufferers, he doesn’t deal in wriggle room or obfuscation. It’s not your thing at all🤷🏻‍♂️
