In reference to your first paragraph,

When you consider that the UK deaths for today are greater than the combined totals of Germany, Italy France and Spain, you realise that we could hardly do worse.

Conquering this awful pandemic is not a competition and throughout this discussion I have focused solely on what is happening in the UK.

We have been told, that, per head of population the UK is doing better than anywhere else in Europe.

So, out of interest, 3336 out of the UK population against 6355 for the combined population of Germany, Italy, France and Spain. Which works out "best" per head of population?

Not sure who you mean but if it's the one I found on YouTube I found him very irritating .  15 seconds was enough for me!
