Quite a bit of the white stuff falling.

The roofer turned up as planned, made a few of those inward sucking noises, usually means it's going to cost more than you thought.

Funnily enough Brue I was thinking that there will be a few no shows today due to the weather so I might be cheeky and ask if they want to get rid of one when I take MiL this afternoon....smile

That will depend on the vaccine i would think as the Oxford/astra zenica has a much longer "shelf life" in a fridge (6months?) than the other two?

When we had our roof liner with modern material (it was tar paper?) it was all done off ladders ,but Elf and safety have pushed up prices with scaffolding needed? now which it seems, according to a neighbour almost doubled the price we paidsurprised

Is it sticking down your way?

Not  much cover other than on the grass and footways outside. Melted of drive and just melting as it hits on the roadway.

Just hoping that the birds don't empty all the feeders anytime soon. They are eating us out of house and home smile

They both had the astra z, I assumed they'd be using up the pfizer for the day. Apparently it was due to the manager thinking it wouldn't make any difference to the stats...I expect there are loads of "stats" to deal with every day, some on a much bigger scale than a local surgery.

Heavy frost here and bright sunshine. We've got snow forecast later. Going to make a big fat-less sponge to use up eggs that are going out of date...old recipe from "Aunty" on farm in Cornwall. She typed out her best recipes for me and I still use them but it took me years to buy a Kenwood like hers, we thought it was so modern at the time! 🍰

Same here ET, garden is full of birds, and squirrels! We have counted six squirrels at one time in last few days. It is lovely watching everything though, cheers you up no end. Should be Big Garden Bird Watch at end of month I think, so we are looking forward to counting what turns up. We have feeders both front and back of house, get different visitors calling! 🙂

Yes, they'll be so well fed they won't turn up for the bird watch...thats my theory as we never see our usual ones on the day. The Robins are really singing their hearts out just now.

Same here. Hardly see a bird on birdwatch day. Days leading up to it often around 15 species. It is almost as if they hide on purpose.
