After many months of asking (via Customer services) for the IT department to address the 'Adobe Flash Player End of Life' ....in order that members can remove/amend their profile picture....and not one reply received.....I have today made a final request via the 'live chat'.

The agent says she will forward (again) my request to the relevant management team....and In response I have given a weeks grace before I send a note to the DG..   I will keep you informed.

FYI (if not aware)...It is now over a year since Adobe first gave notice that Adobe Flash Player will no longer be supported (EoL) after 31 December 2020...

I did not see a cat till I cleared the browser history once more, F5 didn't work on my laptop. (It only takes seconds to clear the history but does that mean we have to do it every time a new avatar is launched?) 🐱

It's Ctrl F5 Brue.  You need to hold the Ctrl button down and press F5 that fully clears your cache if you are using Windows.  Mind you, for some inexplicable reason, it's slow with the CAMC site.

Yes, thanks, I understand, my point being will this have to be done every time and will new members understand the procedure. We've been here before...right back to 2012! wink

Not quite sure I understand what you mean, but I think the answer is it has to be done only when you change you avatar. undecided

I don’t think so. I had to do it to see my new avatar and again to see the cat. As I put earlier a note by the change photo button would help to remind you if you change your own. As to others avatars, it does not really matter,  most clear there caches periodically and they will then get the new pictures.

R&R, I now a see a caravan instead of a dog. I still had to clear history to view the change, ctrl f5 won't do it for me, it doesn't work as a short cut, unfortunately.

Getting the hang of this now!  Just changed it again.  Interestingly, even though my chosen photo was on the desktop, until I cleared the cache, it was greyed out when I came to select it and I couldn't upload it.  Clearing the cache made it 'visible'.  Remember, however, this is on a Mac and they are a bit weird sometimeswink
