Well looked after site

Got off to an excellent start, when Richard (owner) said we were welcome to arrive well before 12.00pm and if we liked the evening sun use the higher numbers.  We arrived early, opened the security gate and were welcomed by means of a small notice board.  The area is very well cared for and can only reiterate the previous reviewers comments.  The eggs ARE delicious and when finding out my husband was interested in the local military history, Richard, arrived with a book on local WW2 history.  The site is well placed for walking to local pubs and visiting the New Forest. There are a few walks from the site (not all dog friendly due to the nature reserves) and there is a little road noise during the day.  Early evening we'd sit with our wine, watching the deer in the field, watching the geese and wild birds fly over head and listen to the cuckoo...idyllic

Exceptional!

Easy accessed through security gates, a welcome board directs campers to their very spacious pitch. Once pitched you can appreciate this exceptional site. Inside the information shed the coin operated shower and toilet is immaculate. The chemical emptying is the best I have encountered in 35 years caravanning and comes complete with wash handbasin and handwash and a designated grey water drain. The grass is well kept and a lot of effort has been put into shrub planting. There are plenty of drinking water taps along the wire fence over which you can admire the view and if lucky watch a small herd of deer as you fill the aquaroll. There are plenty of pubs nearby, the village pub is a short walk away and sells a good pint and decent pub grub, and the Alice Lyle a little further away is also well worth a visit. This is a fantastic site C.L . which the very pleasant owners can be proud of!

Great CL and Location

CL is ideal for Motor-homes nice and flat with a secure entry gate. The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful.  There are many beautiful walks from the site. The site is next to a road, so there is some noise from passing cars at rush hr times. The owners have just put in a new toilet and shower, which is immaculate. all other facilities are also top notch.  Will definitely return when back in the area.

Fantastic CL and Location

Easy access and lovely spacious pitches on well kept grass.  The site and its facilities are immaculately kept.   Lovely location being so close to the New Forest and its lovely walks and towns and villages for those that want to venture out and about.  Some minor traffic noise from adjacent road (safely fenced off and hedge screen) so not a problem.  Owner, Richard, very helpful and pleasant to chat to and the CL is a credit to the owners.  Lots of useful information available in the little hut on site, which is where the toilet and shower are located, both of which are kept very clean and tidy.  We loved it and will undoubtedly be back.

Nice friendly place to stay

This CL has a good flat surface with a secure entry gate. The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful. Their knowledge of the area is unlimited and they were very happy to spend time imparting said knowledge. There is a bus stop at the end of the road, about a 5 minute walk. There are some beautiful walks from the site. The site is next to a road, albeit a country lane, so there is some noise from cars passing by but it wasn't an intrusion. The owners have just put in a new toilet and shower, which is immaculate. all other facilities are also top notch.  Will definitely return when back in the area.

Wow - try this one

This CL should be the blueprint for all CLs. The communication for booking was excellent, access and security to the site was first rate. We had a warm welcome and there was a discreet hut with spotless shower and loo, plus info on the local area and eggs to buy. The waste disposal area is well set up for easy use. There was plenty of hook up points and water points so no trudging about. With a TV  extension lead, there was perfect viewing. There is a lane immediately behind the site, 30 miles per hour mostly used by locals with infrequent traffic. After the first night, we were not disturbed. Loved it here and will be back.

Lovely site and location

We stayed here in October 2014 as a first trip out with our 'new' caravan. The site itself isn't huge (which suits us perfectly) but the pitches are spacious so not cramped at all and it has everything you need. Beautifully kept and lots of info in the shed. The owner, Julie, was friendly and welcoming. Only stayed for 1 night as it was just a test run but would definitely have liked to stay longer and have a chance to explore the area more. We had a lovely walk to a nearby pub which was very warm and welcoming and was only about a mile away. We only live about 15 miles away but it's an area we haven't really visited much, so will definitely return and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful, pretty, well-maintained site. Lovely!

A Welcome Addition

Airview Farm CL sits on the north western edge of the New Forest. The owners, Richard and Julie Hordle only opened the site last year. It`s so new it isn`t even in the Club Sites book yet! However, it is a gem to be treasured and revisited. The pictures on the website tell a true story. It is as you see it. The ground is flat and well drained. They have both gone to great lengths to ensure that anyone who stays with them is comfortable and well informed about what to see, where to go and what to do. They have provided a superb shelter cum recycling point cum hang your wet coats up here until they`re dry shed. Inside is a large scale map of the area and lots of tourist information. Julie usually puts out a dozen or so fresh eggs which you are at liberty to purchase. The CL makes a perfect base from which to explore not only the New Forest but also a plethora of towns and villages along the nearby coast. I shamefully admit that I had previously thought Hampshire to be a bit of a backwater for caravan touring. How wrong could I be. There is literally so much to see and do that you could easily stay for weeks on end and still only scratch the surface. Suffice to say, "We`ll be back". Richard and Julie are lovely people who deserve to succeed with their CL. Their hard work and thoughtfulness means that anyone visiting the site will enjoy their stay, whatever the weather!
