A hidden Gem
We've just returned from a very relaxing 7 night stay at this fab, friendly and very welcoming CL site.
The ownersĀ Lisa andĀ Handyman aka John š¤, keep the site absolutely spotless and immaculate! They are so welcoming and very helpful, and extremely knowledgable of the wholeĀ area. Both their teenageĀ sons, are friendly and a credit to their parents.
The site is very easy to find, the pitches are very generous, with fresh water and grey water waste on each pitch, free WiFi. Everything is thought about as although the chemical empting is a little walk away, a sack truck is on hand to wheel it around there with easeĀ
In the corner of the site, here's a gate with a coded padlock giving you easy access to the lane.
As owners of 3 Collies, we were spoilt for choice, if you went through the gate and turned right, there is Smiths field, a great place to let them run and also a safe route to the village and pub, the AnchorĀ
If you turn left, and a 20ish minute stroll, or twice as long if you have dogs haha, along the river to Pershore, a lovely little market town, which is extremely friendly both to humans and dogs.
There are benches along the river and a nice safe spot, where if you have dogs, can have a safe dip or you can just sit and take in the scenery and nature.
There are plenty of places to have food, as well as local independent shops. The Abbey is also beautiful.
Although we didn't venture far from site, this time, the site is well placed to visit areas such asĀ the cotswolds, Worcestershire, Evesham to name a few.
We've already rebooked to return and can't wait to visit again and already have a list to explore the area further.Ā
