Barff Farm Fenside provided an excellent place to stay - a peaceful haven which felt miles from anywhere although it was only a gentle stroll away from the vibrant village of Metheringham, which has plenty of places to eat and drink. The site is beautifully kept, with well drained level pitches and joy of joys a toilet/washroom with a very comfortable chair and a selection of books - I could have stayed in there for hours!! The site is also about 20 minutes from the atmospheric city of Lincoln with its many attractions, and from Woodhall Spa in the opposite direction with its magnificent golf course. Michelle could not have been a more welcoming host and offered some useful advice about what to do in the vicinity. I visited Barff Farm in October and will have fond memories of the autumn colours, wildlife including deer, hares and owls, and huge skies with great sunsets and an array of stars with little light pollution - and I look forward to another visit!
