Failing of what was our favourite CL

We have visited this CL on a regular basis, every year since opened, and have to say, it is one of the best CL's for site facilities and location. However, it seems that based on the last few visits, they are falling foul of extending the 5 van rule, as we have just experienced sharing the site with 7 caravans! I know there are times when there are changeovers, but 7 caravans over a long weekend is not on. Apparently one of the caravan owners had gone home for the weekend, and left their caravan pitched up, as they were returning 4 days later. This is just takes up space for other caravanners, so blocks potential pitches from being used. Be warned if you can't get on as full. Time to look for another favourite CL.

Sorry you were upset that we are already full next Easter and can't fit you, and sorry you didn't get the pitch you wanted over the weekend, we recognise you have been good customers, look forward to seeing you at Christmas!!!! please note we are an adult only site, no more children visiting for the day and please note we do expect payment for nights that you book and then fail to continually stop for, the vacant caravan occupants had to go home for an emergency and left their caravan in pitch 1, not plugged in until they could return to collect it, we have plenty of pitches so that was not a problem. smile

Unfortunately owners cannot predict hospital visits needed so unfair to complain about such a immaculate excellent owned site a credit to Lorna & David the twin wheels was breaking site rules by letting there children have day long visits as a adult only site so that was very inconsiderate to other caravaners who choose ADULT only sites for the child free space BARLEYWOOD DESERVES CL OF THE YEAR for all the hard work that is done on site for us to have such excellent facilities a credit to them
