Saw this site on Facebook and decided to book and give it a try. What a great decision, Barn Owl Meadow is a true surprise. The pitches are huge, every pitch has its own supply of water, electric and grey waste and are in pristine condition. The facilities block is immaculate. Showers are spacious with full facilities (2 shower rooms with toilet), separate toilets are also available. The ‘pot wash’ is spotless and spacious, two sinks and plenty of room for two people to use simultaneously. Set in the countryside, it is truly rural, quiet and a site designed to chill out and relax. If you have transport, there are a couple of pubs within 2.5 to 3 miles away. We had lunch in the Bell Inn and we weren’t disappointed there either. The large field has a well maintained dog walking path for a good leg stretch, opposite each pitch is a table / benches with umbrella if your cooking Al fresco. Pauline the owner makes you welcome and ensures you know where everything is. Open all year round, we may well book ourselves a Christmas break.
