Our 100% favourite CL, no doubt

Just had another fantastic stay at this wonderful, tranquil site. Pauline and Roger ensure everything is in immaculate condition, and greet everyone. The facility block is second to none, and the pitches are spacious and perfectly flat. Having breakfast overlooking the sheep happily grazing on the meadow, with Peter the Alpaca keeping a watchful eye on proceedings, is a joy. Superb site and great value.

What a great site

Well laid out site with huge pitches all fully serviced. The showers and toilet facilities are excellent. Owner met us on arrival and also checked in with us before we left, very pleasant. Will definitely be returning to this great CL

Excellent facilities and immaculate pitches

This site is fantastic, it has everything anyone could want. Immaculate 5 star toilets, showers and all general facilities such as Elsan point, dog wash area, recycling. The shower rooms are like a 5 star hotel, underfloor heating and piped music playing on entry makes the experience so pleasant. The 5 hard standing pitches are spacious with their own drinking water and grey water (fully serviced with 16 amp hook up). The walk around the meadow was very nice with a clear path that takes you around the sheep filled meadow and back into the campsite. General information was readily available from the camp site building giving details of local shop, takeaways and other attractions. Pauline came over to see us on a couple of occasions and was lovely. We highly recommend this site for anytime of the year. We will be back. Thanks for making our stay very pleasurable..

A tranquil retreat

Saw this site on Facebook and decided to book and give it a try. What a great decision, Barn Owl Meadow is a true surprise. The pitches are huge, every pitch has its own supply of water, electric and grey waste and are in pristine condition. The facilities block is immaculate. Showers are spacious with full facilities (2 shower rooms with toilet), separate toilets are also available. The ‘pot wash’ is spotless and spacious, two sinks and plenty of room for two people to use simultaneously. Set in the countryside, it is truly rural, quiet and a site designed to chill out and relax. If you have transport, there are a couple of pubs within 2.5 to 3 miles away. We had lunch in the Bell Inn and we weren’t disappointed there either. The large field has a well maintained dog walking path for a good leg stretch, opposite each pitch is a table / benches with umbrella if your cooking Al fresco. Pauline the owner makes you welcome and ensures you know where everything is. Open all year round, we may well book ourselves a Christmas break.

Beautiful site what a gem

This site is just immaculate with fantastic facilities that are rarely found at a CL site. Extremely spacious and set in a beautiful location for peace and tranquility what’s not to love definitely a must to enjoy and return to.

A 5 star review for a 5 star site.

The owners Roger & Pauline have spared no expense in creating for us what could only be described as the best of the best CL on the circuit. Build it and they will come - they’ve built it, and we came, as I’m sure many others will, again, and again. Well done Roger & Pauline, a big thank you for letting us stay here, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Excellent CL

Just a excellent CL with all pitches serviced, very clean shower & toilet rooms, highly recommend this site. Pauline was very helpful & friendly. Just one thing if you are putting a awning up make sure you have good steel pegs & a good size hammer.

Brilliant site, all that we wanted: excellent facilities - showers, WC, washing up room, information room; immaculate pitches with lots of room; good walking and cycling. We will definitely return.

if only all cl sites were this good

perfect site its all been said before but, i just had to thank the owners of such a well laid out site. fantastic showers with the underfloor heating, which as i was there in the bitter cold at the back end of feb this year was a blessing. when im this way again this will be my first choice of where to stay.

Fabulous Rural Location

This is a fabulous quiet rural location. Five great level pitches with good access. EHU and with drinking water and grey water disposal on each pitch. The facilities block would put many hotels to shame, they are fabulous. This was our first ever nights out in our caravan and we are now completely spoilt! Highly recommended. No downsides.
