A first class CL

This was our second visit to this wonderful site and hope it will not be the last. Steph and Nick are absolutely great and go the extra mile to make their visitors so welcome. The site is so well kept and is a credit to them.,they work so hard. The animals are nice to see, especially the goats who kept us entertained with their amusing antics, The village is really nice with a great butcher with pies to die for,so good that before we leave we order some to take home for us and also our youngest son. The two pubs are really nice, both have completely different characters. One only opens in the evening and has a lovely garden to sit in and sometimes entertainment. The scenery is superb in this part of wales. A trip to Rhyader and over the mountain road which goes through Devils Bridge and onto Aberystwyth is a must also branch off on the mountain road to the Elan valley to visit all the reservours . There are so many beautiful places to visit, some near, some a bit further that it would be impossible to list them all,but this is a must visit and stay site . Please do not change it,no improvements are required. cheers from Mick & Iris chatterton.

This site wants for nothing.

Steph & Nick met us on arrival. Two owners who made sure our stay was 1st class. Flat pitches. Excellent toilet & shower facilities. Recycling at its best. Dedicated field for letting our dog run. Great walk into the village along the Towy river side. There is even a book exchange for the β€˜bookworms!’ Steph & Nick were always genuinely interested in what we planned to do/had done. Nick always gave us advanced warning when he was moving their livestock. A gem of a site with great owners.

Amazing welcome and idyllic location

We recently stated coronation bank holiday, Steph and Nick were amazing from point of contact, throughout to the end of our stay honestly wish we had stayed longer. Great location very quiet immaculate grounds, fully serviced pitch, good sized pitches. Add to that the surroundings of all their wonderful pets and their sheep goats and chickens are definitely their pets, spoilt rotten ! Steph and Nick were so lovely, happy and welcoming giving us all the information of bus routes the village and places of interest , taking their personal time to talk and tell us about their amazing home and the surroundings Honestly it was a long drive for us but I would return without a doubt and would highly recommend I have never felt so welcome ! Was just a wonderful long weekend in wonderful surroundings with a really wonderful couple thanks so much

A Gem!

We stayed last Friday to Sunday just gone. We have 2 lovely dogs, collie and lab. All 4 of us loved this CL . So friendly with excellent facilities and lovely owners. The walks are stunning along the Towy river, the two pubs are dog friendly and great beers and food. Very reasonably price tooπŸ™‚ We had a great welcome in the village and Les the village butcher had a great selection of local meats. We look forward to going back later in the year! Ian & Suz 🐾🐾

Very attentive owners, beautfiul scenery

One week stay in May. Easy enough to find, gated entrance and well fenced perimeter is always a welcome find for those of us with families and dogs. Both are always kept under full control in our case, but reassuring in case of any mishaps. Effusive welcome from owners, both made a point of coming to find everyone on site multiple times each day to see how we all were and to talk to everyone. Lots of pet sheep and goats on site, all beautifully kept and very friendly. Very clean and modern washroom. What a pretty area of Wales! Lots of circular walks directly from the site, good village with a couple of small shops, a pub (although the kitchens were closed during our stay) and a good butcher. We visited Aberystwyth, Newcastle Emlyn, Lampeter and Carmarthern, as well as enjoying several walks in the Brecon Beacons. Area is well recommended for views, peace and walking. We have never seen so many Red Kites, commonly watched half a dozen or more at a time.

Campervan visit September.

This is a very well managed site with good shower and toilet block.Very peaceful area with widespread views from site, the animals were a bonus. Steph and Nick the owners were very helpful. The only thing missing was a campervan service point to access water and grid for grey water waste.

Excellent stay

We recently stayed at this lovely peaceful site. Owners were very welcoming and there was a nice walk into the village through field beside the river. On the evening before our departure Nick and Stef made a point of wishing us well on our onward journey. Would happily book again.

A cracking stay!

This really is a gem of a CL site, located with fabulous views of the black mountains. The village is a short walk and you find a really good local butchers and a general shop, plus good pubs with food. As for the site it is level, extremely clean and the facilities are just what you need. Nick and Steph welcomed us and gave us a tour of the livestock, there are also their own fresh free range eggs on sale really tasty too. Incredibly friendly couple, really couldn't do enough for you! Highly recommended. Nick and Steph.....you're just too good πŸ˜‰
