Peaceful and Pretty

Lovely spot and while not on the coast has great views over farmland to the sea. The local hares and pheasants came to visit too. Easy access to the CL, which has good pitches which will improve as the hedging between them matures. Close to the pretty village of Coldingham and a short drive to St Abbs. Also convenient for the A1, so, all in all a good location, with good facilities and a warm welcome from the site owner. All exactly as described on the website. Would definitely use again.

Peace and tranquillity

This site has to be the best we have stayed at. We stayed 4 nights. If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet site this one is perfect. The views across the fields, just reaching the rooftops in Coldingham, and to the sea beyond is a wonderful sight. We received a very warm welcome from Al, happy to provide any assistance and local knowledge we required. The site is immaculate. Positioned slightly uphill enabling the gorgeous views. The hardstanding pitches are level with a grassed area on the side for the awning. It's a 20min stroll into the village of Coldingham and the bus stop which takes you to St Abbs/ Eyemouth/ Berwick. (part of the route to the village is unpaved but there is little traffic). The pretty village is interesting with a couple of lovely pubs and a butcher and mini supermarket. The streets are very narrow through the village. A great location for exploring this part of the Borders.

Beautiful new CL

Fantastic new CL, too late to include in CMC directory. STUNNING SEA VIEWS, great individual pitches, lovely bin/waste area and a couple of water taps. Newly planted foliage will provide privacy, to wide, levelish pitches. Beautiful St Abbs, Eyemouth nearby, with usual shops and eateries, with Berwick-upon-Tweed nearby. This will hopefully become a popular CL, not too popular, as we hope to return. Close to A1, so great for stopover, as we did, enroute from the Highlands to Cambridgeshire. Good luck to Alisdair, Carol and Will in this adventure. Go see before it gets too popular!

Relaxing 3 Nights

We have just returned from a relaxing 3 nights at the new CL called Bee Edge, nr St Abbs, just north of Eyemouth. We highly recommend this site, it just opened at Easter and has amazing views from all 5 pitches. The family, Alisdair, Carol & Will, who own the site couldn’t have done enough to ensure we were settled and happy. We would like to wish them every success with their new venture. Best wishes, Ross, Debs and Buddy.
