The site now has a security entrance, on arrival there was a CL inspector about to enter, we both had trouble trying to get in the gate! Eventually- after a phone call, we succeeded and everything was fine thereafter. The views towards the sea over yellow fields of oil seed rape are excellent (until the haar comes in) and the facilities are quite new and easy to use and locate. Coldingham is a lovely old village with narrow roads and the Priory is worth a visit. We find the Footpath app is good when exploring footpaths we come across, and there were several in the village. The owner came to check there were no problems and to welcome us and other new arrivals.
