Perfect break.

This site is only about 10 minutes from home but we chose it so we could meet up with family for a short break. We were lucky that the weather was glorious. All three caravans were able to pitch close to each other, levelling blocks are needed. Picnic benches available which were useful beings there were 7 of us. Toilets and shower, water point, elsan and grey waste close by to the field via a gate. As we all all live within this area we didn't need to sightsee but stayed chilling around the vans. Our 2 year old grandson had a wonderful time, being able to run free in the field without the need to worry about traffic. Kate is a lovely host and came over to chat a few times, and also showed us around the farm so our grandson could see the animals. A working farm so expect a little noise of passing tractors etc, was no problem to us. Rural trains run past a short distance from the field, but again not a problem and adds to the charm. Plenty of places to visit from this site if you are new to the area so a very convenient location. We all enjoyed ourselves immensely and you would never have known we were so close to home.

Simply the Best

Just returned from a very enjoyable long weekend at Brookhouse Farm. A beautiful unspoilt location offering exactly what a CL should. A large grass field with plenty of space, EHUs, and superb fresh water, shower and toilet facilities. And it gets better. Andrew and Kate are simply the best hosts, and the local area with access to Stratford, Warwick and Leamington has plenty to offer. Add to all that local shops and bakeries to die for, and time spent at Brookhouse Farm makes for a great break. The local trains pass by from time to time, adding to the atmosphere. Gorgeous free range eggs from Kate are well worth sampling, next time we will give the farm sausages a go. Follow the entry instructions carefully as avoiding the village will save you grief and stress. Go to Brookhouse Farm and enjoy all it has to offer. You won’t regret it.

One to return too

We have just returned from a short break at Brookhouse Farm and are already looking forward to a return sometime later in the year. This site has everything you could wish for, easy straightforward access and just a short drive from the M42 and the motorway network. On site however you would not realise you are on the outskirts of Birmingham and its many visitor attractions, it is also ideally placed for visits to events at the NEC. It is on a working farm just a short walk from the picturesque village of Tanworth in Arden, the access road is quiet and there are lovely views from the site. Pitches are spacious and well spaced out, the toilet and shower block are kept immaculately clean and water and disposal points are easy access. Owners Andrew and Kate couldn’t be more helpful and friendly and do everything they can to make your visit an enjoyable one.

Relaxed and welcoming site

Just had a lovely weekend on this site. Kate and Andrew are absolutely brilliant - so welcoming and helpful. At this time of year the lambs are romping in adjacent fields and the birds are indeed in fine song. Services block is clean and airy and well maintained. No problem levelling the van. Lovely village not far away (0.6 of a mile or about an 11 minute walk) with a pub and an attractive village green by the church - opening times for the pub are helpfully included in the array of information about local amenities in the services block. We had such a great time, we've booked to go again and look forward to our next visit. Thanks Kate and Andrew, what a lovely CL site you have created.

A delightful recent addition to the local CL network

This is a delightful recent additional CL that is very welcome in the area. The site field is lovely and peaceful, constantly surrounded by the most glorious birdsong, with the odd passing rural train now and then for extra entertainment as less fortunate commuters have to go about their daily business. All 3 of the higher positioned pitches will require simple levelling ramps……but no great hardship anywhere. The newly built clean, bright and airy toilet and services block is laid out sensibly to avoid any high lifting of heavy containers and works well, with 2 x unisex loos and a shower for those who may need them. The owners; Kate and Andrew who run the site, are a lovely couple and are willing to put that bit of extra effort in to make sure that you enjoy your stay, and the eggs and sausages are particularly recommended! We have stayed a couple of times now and we know that this will be a regular stop for us in the future.

Excellent site to chill out

As near perfection as you could wish for! The booking was simple, with deposit & payment by BACS transfer if preferred. The directions were easy to follow and to spot the CL sign. Don't try to come via the village as the road is narrow with street parking so no room to manoevre a caravan. The field was fairly level and plenty of space to choose your level pitch within reach of the new style electric points. Picnic tables are randomly sited for your use if required. The new toilet/ shower(pay meter) facilities are beautifully clean, and sink has hot water and paper towels. Usual chemical emptying point and drain for grey water are to one side of the building The outlook is over a field used by their 3 horses, and beyond is the local 3-carriage train which is non-intrusive and reminded us of the Railway Children of the New Forest. Kate made us feel very welcome and took time to talk with everyone on the site, making sure that we had all everything necessary to set up and enjoy our stay. We apprciated all the planning and hard work Kate and Andrew have put in to create a lovely relaxing CL and we look forward to returning to do more of the many local walks in the area.

We had the pleasure of staying here this weekend. On arrival we was welcomed by Andrew and his lovley sheep dog who showed us to our pitch. After we had set up and our friends had also arrived and set up we met Kate who loves to chat. This is a new site and has a spotless shower and toilet block with information of local amenities. You can buy there very own pork sausages and free range eggs and this i recommend as there yummy. Lovley place lots to offer lots of pubs and restaurants near by thanks Andrew & Kate for a pleasant stay till next tim x
