peaceful escape

This was a last minute booking and boy did we find a little gem. Mrs Poole gave us a warm, friendly welcome on our arrival, explaining and pointing out the location of our pitch and all the facilities. Mrs Poole then gave us an in site into what the local area had to offer and told us just to ask if there was anything we needed. It is a well kept peaceful site, with generous pitches, affording wonderful views, what more could we have wished for!!

Castlebeck Farm

We stay here every year and we Love it, the Owner and his lovely wife could not be more helpful.  The pitches are generous and well kept, and the views are wonderful.  Fresh eggs are available most days from the farm's own hens, beautiful brown eggs too. We have already booked our spot for next year..........that's how good it is !

Great farm site

Stayed on this site in spring for 4 consecutive weekends. Loved everything about it, the view was fantastic and the site owners bent over backwards to help us. The site was what you would expect for a working farm, and was well kept. We found plenty of local walks and a couple of nice pubs a short drive away. A great base for visiting Whitby and Scarbrough and the moors. The TV signal wasn't brilliant but didn't affect us as we had a satellite dish.

Nice site but.....

Nice people and a great view from site but, No phone signal No TV signal Not mown and a bit scruffy, although September when we visited we thought that it would have been nice to have one pitch ready for us(we were the only ones on site that week). It wouldn`t have taken a lot of effort.
