Utterly brilliant

We chose this CL as it was situated in the part of Wales we wanted to visit but also because the reviews were so good…..and reviewers were absolutely correct in their comments. This is the best CL we have ever visited. Two miles from the nearest beaches this CL has spotless facilities and excellent hard standing level pitches much larger than is usual, on a slope which means each van is at a different level to its neighbour. A large grassed area in front of the pitches, with a field beyond (dog walking allowed) gives a relaxing view. No traffic noise, or any noise & main road a mile away with a nearby grocery, bakery and butchery all at a local garage. Not forgetting the little bakery a mile away where the baker sells goods from his garage ! Mark and Philippa were so friendly and helpful and gave their time to advise and chat and took us to feed their animals. If we return to this part of the country we wouldn’t stay anywhere else and we would like to thank Mark and Philippa for making our week with them so enjoyable. Rhona and Bill

One of the best :-)

Had an absolutely fantastic 9 night stay and left feeling positively relaxed and rejuvenated. The site and pitches are exceptional with everything you need, well laid out and kept very clean and tidy. Great access to many local beaches, a local garage and supermarket with bakers, butchers and pretty much all you will need. The site and surrounding areas are beautiful and a huge thank you to our hosts Mark and Phillippa, who couldn't have done more to make our stay perfect. :-)

Excellent CL

One of the best CL sites we’ve stayed in. Very well kept and spotless water, waste disposal etc. Wonderful views and good base for exploring the coastline. Our motorhome door lock broke and Mark kindly advised us how to mend it. Philippa and Mark run the CL very efficiently. We will definitely return and highly recommend a stay.

Very enjoyable stay

We had a very enjoyable stay on this quiet site. Mark and Philippa were very friendly and Mark came around to check we were OK when a storm of 60+ mph blew in. The site was very clean and tidy, with great views of the surrounding countryside. Would recommend. Chris and Louise

Fantastic

We are just back from staying a week here We loved it, the owners Phillipa and Mark were very friendly and obviously love what they are doing, they are people persons that's for sure. Their animals are fab they used to run to the fence when they seen us ginger nuts, apples and carrots were well received. You can see they are well loved and cared for. The CL is spotless and the Pitches are large so plenty of space between units, the views across the valley are amazing and also the dark sky, stars were fantastic. We will definitely be back. Thankyou for providing such a lovely place for us to stay and enjoy Sandy & Colin

Superb cl with the most friendly owners

Access to the site is easy off A487 lane to site is plenty wide enough for even large units and farm lane as well is wide and easy. Site entrance is easy to access and pitches are all hard standing massive pitches with EHU. The water, waste and chemical disposal (green fluid only) is close by and kept really clean. You can pitch whichever way you want to suit your unit and take advantage of the wonderful views. At night there is no light pollution so you get an amazing view of the stars on a clear night. Philippa and mark the owners are super friendly and accommodating. In fact I would go as far to say that they are the best owners we have come across during our time caravanning. There are alpacas, sheep, chickens, donkeys, goats, ponies and Shetland ponies on site. The alpacas donkeys and goats love carrots and apples and we always go with a supply for them. We try and go at least 3 times a year we enjoy it so much. You are also close to a lot of beaches a lot of which allow dogs on all year round. There is also a field adjacent to the cl which you can exercise your dogs in. The farm also sells chicken eggs from their own flock.  There are also 3 cottages in the farm if you have family and friends who don’t caravan but would like to join you.  All in all a real gem of a site that we are always sorry to have to leave.

First class

Access to the site is very good no long difficult lanes the pitches are easy to get on to and level. Each pitch is larger than average and with ehu close by. The water collection and empty is good and recently renovated. The owners were most welcoming and we even managed to bottle feed a lamb and stroke the tame alpacas. The small holding has its own hens with eggs you can buy, delicious. Highly recommended first class cl

Wonderful, welcoming, well equipped site. Couldn't ask for more!

We usually stay on smaller CLs, just a field & a tap, but we wanted somewhere that my in-laws (in their mid 80s) would be happy in their caravan. This site was absolutely perfect! Everything was so well thought out and kept in immaculate condition, Philippa and Mark were so friendly and welcoming and the animals are a delight! The site is a perfect mix - easy to access from the main road, close to some beautiful beaches and the coastal path, not far from shops and tourist attractions, but it still feels very secluded and is blissfully quiet. The weather when we stayed was shocking - gales and some heavy rain - so we were really appreciative of the flat hardstandings and well paved access road. The holiday cottages on site also look lovely, and there's a barbeque hut available to hire whether you are in the cottages or the campsite.

Few nights away, a couple of hours down the road. Only allowed to stay in Wales, as we live in Wales but still nice to get away.

Great site, excellent, spacious pitches. Ideal for visiting West Wales. We only live 2 hours away, up the coast but it was nice to have a few days away. Weather was shocking but we can't do anything about that. Sunday was glorious. Very basic site with no toilet or shower but it didn't matter to us. Very warm and friendly welcome :)
