disappointed

I would advise checking your booking before setting off, we arrived to find our pitch had been given to someone else despite ringing that morning, though Mr Evans said he was busy and would ring back, he didn't, so we set off thinking our booking, made months earlier, was still valid. He admitted his mistake and offered to put us in us the barnyard till something came available but we felt so let down we left thinking our holiday was ruined. However just down the road at Pilbach, we found a better site, it cost us a lot more but it was lovely, so we spent the week there. Sometimes these farmers have so much on, it seems they haven't time to keep up to speed with their caravanning guests.

A relaxing stay

Have just returned after a relaxing 6 days. The pitches are terraced with lovely views of the countryside. The pitches are all hardstanding and very spacious. The site is ideal for exploring the Cardiganshire coast. We have booked to return again in August.

Quiet Site

Lovely site with some lovely views across the country side, however you won't get a sunset view because it's the wrong side of the hill!  The local beaches are nice and Newquay is a quaint harbour town. Facilities are decent.  Well maintained lawn, very large hardstanding pitches, and nicely done service points. Donkeys, alpacas, horses and cows surround the site and are lovely!  Pitches are all levels too!

Cefnllaethdre (2198) July 9th to 13th 2015

The well kept driveway to the farm was a welcoming sight and on turning into the CL we were greeted by 5  flat terraced hard standing pitches set against well manicured  lawns. The service point was of a very similar design and build to that found on most Caravan Club sites. However, the site is exposed to the elements and while we were there it was very windy.  Situated just of the A487 we found it an excellent base for all the places we wished to visit.  Overall this is a well run site offering good value for money.

What a Beautiful Area

This CL is easy to find and the access is good.  The site is immaculate and very well laid out with large hard standing pitches and wonderful views.  The CL is in a lovely area with loads of beautiful places to visit namely Cardigan, New Quay, Aberaeron and the smaller beaches of Mwnt, Aberporth and Poppit Sands are all well worth a visit.  You can get fresh eggs from the Farm and there is a dog walk on site through fields or up the lane opposite the Farm entrance.  A great place to chill, explore and with very helpful owners at the Farm each evening.

What a gem!!

Having never visited this area before, we decided to give this CL a try and we are so glad that we did. The site offers five large, hard standing pitches - deep enough and wide enough to accommodate the largest of outfits. The pitches are terraced and offer beautiful views over the adjacent countryside - it was quite easy to sit and while away the time. Access to the site/pitches is easy and everything is well maintained by the owners. There is an adjacent field for exercising dogs and plenty of walking from the site if that takes your fancy. The nearest beach is at Penbryn (NT) where you can also access the Ceredigion Coastal Path from which the views are magnificent. The nearest shop is about a mile away with supermarkets at Cardigan (about 8 miles). There is an excellent phone signal (EE) and we used a dongle (3) for the internet. There is also free Wi-Fi at Tesco's (Cardigan) which you can access from the car park. Plenty to see and do in the area and at £10.00 a night, exceptional value.

Lovely views ,

We stayed there last year in our T/A Caravan , pitches are very large and are all hard standing , as you walk about the site you will see the Alpacas staring at you , nice views from our pitch , there is a beach at Mwnt which is only a few miles , there is also a chapel on the clifftop , we will definitely go again

peace perfect peace

Peace perfect peace!!!  Very quiet area with great views all around. services were by the site entrance and always kept spotless. the entrance lane was a nice spot to walk the dog. Due to the hard surface there was no danger of mud, and each pitch had ample space. And yes we will go back again soon. The Inernal Fire Museum which is about 100 yards from the entrance is well worth a visit. Cardigan town has all the shops you could need.

A little Gem

This is a clean, well maintained site with outstanding 360 degree views. The welcome is always pleasant and the free range eggs are delicious. The site is ideally placed for touring Ceredigion, North Pembrokeshire and West Carmarthenshire.
