A Gem of a CL

Have just returned from an absolutely fantastic week at Church Farm Cottages CL. Access to the site is fine as long as you follow the written directions on the website and NOT your satnav. The welcome from Ian and Lily was lovely. The pitches are all hard-standing, if a little narrow with an awning, but Ian is not precious about you pegging out on his grass or even parking your car on it, which makes it fine. The shower/wc 'hut' is always kept spotless as is the entire site. The village of Gresham is very pretty as in fact are all the neighboring villages. There are lots of National Trust properties and Country Parks to visit. A visit to Sandringham is a must as are the fabulous beaches of Holkham and Wells next the Sea. Thank you Ian and Lily, this is certainly now one of those 'must return' sites.

First Class Little CL

Its a tricky country lane that leads you to this quiet little CL close by to Sherringham and Cromer. We met a school bus coming the other way and were tested with our reversing ability. Chaotic but no real problems! The site is very small but very well located with very clean and new toilet and shower bolock. Gents and ladies with one loo, one sink and one shower each. Water etc all located well and again clean and new. Each pitch is a hard standing with grass aside for an awning. Owls in the local woods and wooly sheep in the adjacent fields. Its all added up to a very nice CL indeed. The owner Ian came to see us and handed out hand made documents containing all local knowledge required. Sherringham and its steam railway going to Holt is only 10 minutes away and the great beaches of East and West Runton plus Cromer just 15 minutes away by car. Fully recommended and we shall certainly be visiting again. Many thanks indeed Mr and Mrs Windley.

Lovely clean site, nice couple

Had a wonderful week's stay at this site in June. Toilets and showers were kept immaculate all the time. Quiet peaceful site with wi-fi if needed, but had no problem with mobile signal so did not use it. Cromer was nearby and National Trust properties Felbrigg Hall and Blickling estate were just a short drive away. Would stay here again when in the area. Recommended !!!
