What a Find!

This is a new CL and is fabulous. The owners have spared no expense in making this a superb place to stop. The pitches are on grass and are pretty flat, although you may need to level a van slightly. The 'bays' are large and are positioned around a central 'garden' so that the occupants are in a fan layout which we have never seen before. Each of these have their own tap and grey water drain, so there is a lot less trouble when dealing with these. The approach is fine with an electric gate and wide road to the field. The owners are really friendly and helpful and even popped in to see how we were! There is a timber lodge in which there is a very good shower and loo and massive amounts of literature on the locality. The 3 Alpacas are a laugh to watch and the whole place is quiet and the sunsets are great. The only drawback that we can think of is that we had no mobile signal but there is very fast WiFi in the timber building alothough it doesn't stretch across the site.

What a gem!

We were a little anxious heading to a CL with no reviews, but it was a little last minute break, so, we held our breath and, on arrival, the lack of reviews was explained - a brand new site! The owners were very welcoming and are clearly trying very hard to make this a more up-market CL with a great shower and toilet, free WiFi (and fast) and great serviced pitches. The location is very good, Banbury is just 7 miles or so away, Stratford and the Cotswolds all on the doorstep. Great cycling area and, away from the obvious tourist hotspots, the roads are very quiet. Thank you Steph and Wayne for such a peaceful break!

Great new CL

We have just spent the weekend at this newly opened CL. A fantastic place to stay with large pitches, each of which looks out on open fields. The large shower and toilet are spotlessly clean and heated when needed. Would not hesitate to recommend it and are looking forward to our next visit. The welcoming owners, Steph and Wayne have pulled out all the stops to make this an excellent site.

Highly recommended!

We were the first outfit on this CL - after a last minute change of plan we were pleased to find somewhere with space, and hit lucky! The entrance is quite wide and easy to access. The pitches are arranged radiating outwards from a central wild area, there are hook-ups and each pitch has its own water and drainage, and there's plenty of space for kids to play. The washing facilities are very smart and spotlessly clean. The owners are welcoming and had some very useful local info. We had plenty of amusement watching the antics of the alpacas and chickens in the next field. There's a very useful village shop and post office in Tysoe which has almost everything you might need, and it's within easy reach of Banbury and Stratford, with several NT properties nearby, and it's a good area for cycling, fairly level but with some exciting hills. We didn't try the local pubs but they look good. We had a great holiday here and would definitely recommend it!
