First caravanners to visit this recently re-opened site

We were delighted to be the first arrivals at Cross Vale Farm which has only recently been re-opened by the site owner Nigel and his wife. We received a warm welcome from Nigel who was happy to let us choose which pitch we preferred and get set up. The site is a lush green grassed area with some newly planted apple trees, flat and even. There are two grass pitches adjacent to the barn building with electric hookups and the remaining pitches are in the open field. There is a little bit of traffic noise during the day but nothing to worry about and it was perfectly peaceful at night. The access to the site is down a short drive with two turns between the outbuildings but this was easy to negotiate even for novices like us. There is no toilet or shower available. The site is excellently located for visiting Dedham (a 1.3 mile stroll across the fields from the site) and the surrounding area. We thoroughly recommend the site and thank the owners for their warm welcome and humour.
