Great little site ,

Lovely owners very quick to reply to email enquiries, nice meet and greet with a tour of the site very clean with short cut grass and hard standing pitches. Site itself is only a short walk to the river which has an abundance of wildlife. There is a tarmac cycling path that takes you into Lincoln along the river and takes about 30 minutes. Unfortunately due to my wife been unwell we had to cut our stay short by a day for which the owners gave us a rebate that I thought was above and beyond. We will be back for sure .

Great site

What a lovely site, nice peaceful location, friendly helpful owners. The bus service (every 30mins) into Lincoln is very good. Being close to the river Witham was great for cycling/ walking, tarmac trail into Lincoln (5 miles), Bardney (5 miles) in the opposite direction or 13 miles into the lovely Woodall Spa. Toilets and shower on site looks like it’s being renewed. Definitely a place we would go back to. We stayed for 8 nights leaving on 03/05/22.

Great Peaceful C.L.

We stayed here one night Saturday 19th February. It was such a lovely quiet peaceful place for our restful night in a very nice countryside location. There are some fantastic places to walk or cycle from this site by the river. The owner was very friendly, the toilets and showers were good. The site is immaculately kept and great hard standing pitches there.

Beautiful site

A beautiful site, well maintained and friendly site owner who is very welcoming. Perfect location for the coast and Lincoln itself with an excellent bus service outside of the site. A quite location with nice flat walks. Will be visiting again. This site and location has something for everyone.

Excellent little site

This is an excellent site with facilities such as a toilet and shower which is a bonus for a small site. The hosts are always around if you require any assistance however leave you alone to enjoy the peace and quiet. The site is just a stones throw away from an old disused railway path which leads directly into Lincoln some 5 miles away, easy to cycle on. Alternatively there is a bus stop outside the site although never used as always cycled. The village has a pub which we have been told is excellent and only a short walk on paths. Shhhhh don’t tell everyone as we would like to return in the future!!

Diamond House lincoln

We've visited this site recently and have been coming here for more than 10 years. It's a lovely site well kept and spotlessly clean. The prorioters are very friendly and helpful, they meet you on arrival show you to a pitch and explain about the facilities. There's a bus stop 50 metres away into Lincoln and a tarmac cycle path accessed via a lane behind the site, which takes you into Lincoln City.

Quiet, Clean and Friendly!!....Excellent base for visiting Lincoln

My wife and I have stayed on this site a few times.....It provides a mix of flat, well maintained, grass and hard standing pitches. The on-site facilities are clean, well maintained and include toilet/shower, electric hook up and Elson emptying point. The owners are very helpful and accommodating with nothing too much trouble. There is a bus service direct to Lincoln (approx 5mls) right outside the front entrance making it an excellent base to explore the historic City, whilst also providing a great location for visiting other local towns and surrounding Lincolnshire countryside. There is a road at the side of the campsite leading to the River Witham (approx 300 yds). Additionally, a cycle path/walkway running along side the river providing routes to the West into Lincoln or East to Bardney. The local village of Fiskerton is within comfortable walking distance where the 'Carpenters Arms' pub/restaurant offer 'pub grub' at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this site if you desire a quiet location with easy access to Lincoln and surrounding area.

If only.....

If only this was just a CL it would be perfect. A couple of gravel hardstandings and the rest on grass. But with no real segregation between the CL and the commercial site if just felt like one bigger site. Clearly on the commercial site their were some seasonal/ permanent vans which unfortunately for us were occupied with some inconsiderate neighbours. Great location for visiting Lincoln and ideal for off road cycling on the Water rail cycle route which you can access straight from the site. Toilet and shower basic but adequate 50p for the shower. Cost at the time of visiting was £16.00 per night.

Fab stay for a visit to Lincoln

Stayed at Diamond House on a Friday and Saturday night for a visit to Lincoln on the Saturday. We arrived at about 6.30pm to meet family who had arrived a couple of hours earlier. On arrival we were met by the owner and showed to our pitch (actually we were given the choice of two very large pitches- one hardstanding, one grass both with EHU). As we have a 7.4m coachbuilt we went for the hardstanding. The site is kept in very good order and is very quiet with views over the surrounding countryside. There toilets and showers are basic but all were kept very clean. The owners were super helpful and friendly. This is a great little site and we will definitely return. Just for info: We visited the local pub (Carpenters Arms) for dinner on the Friday night - a 10 minute walk from the site and not bad food. On Saturday we walked along the river (on a tarmac path) into Lincoln - about 5.5 miles to the city centre. A taxi back was £13.
