Would like to have stayed longer

This was a 1 nighter for us, to break the return from Scotland to London. Study a Map before you go.... the CL involves itself and their B&B, with the entrance showing the B&B name which can be confusing. Very friendly Owner who was very helful. Site can easily accomodate 8 Units. There is a good Shower and separate Toilet. Many of the pitches are on hard-standing gravel. Village and nearby villages look quaint and interesting, and Lincoln Cathedral is prominant on the horizon. Should be good for cycling or walking, as landscape is very flat. We would visit again. Don't be a disgrace, like 1 visitor, who after his dog had killed one of the resident chickens, hid it in his car boot secretly. B&B is not advertised and is likely to be stopped soon.

Great CL Friendly owners - Handy for Lincoln

Stayed for a weekend - Really great welcome from the owner, Pitches are spacious and level, on the whole a very well laid out CL, The shower costs 50p, but lasts for 15 minutes so time enough for 2 people to use it - small play area onsite - we had a really relaxing time. Caught the bus to Lincoln outside the gate this costs £5.20 return, but is far better than driving in and finding a parking space, also had a nice meal in the Carpenters Arms which is about 10 minutes walk away, never had time to walk the footpath by the river, maybe next time - This is a great CL and we will certainly return for a longer stay

Water rail way

Chose this site for its access to the waterrail way cycle route. Could not have been better. Easy to find site well managed . Toilet a little dated but functional. Had a lovely Sunday lunch in carpentersarms within walking distance. Will defiantly be returning. Word of warning if you don't like midges don't go along canal in the evening.

Great Site!

We have stayed at this site a few times and always return each year. The site is level, tidy and the facilities are clean. The owner is friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop nearby for Linclon and a great walk (flat) from outside the site along a canal footpath in both directions. It would be ideal to take your dog and a bike!.
