Great Site

We used this site as a base when moving my son into uni in Lincoln.  It was a last minute booking. On arrival we was greeted by Barbara and shown around the faculties. There is plenty of room on each pitch and although it stated slightly sloping don't be put off its not that bad.  If you have dogs there is a lane which runs down the side of the site which takes 5 mins to reach the river where you can roam for miles. We thoroughly recommend this site for a base to visiting Lincoln or surrounding areas  The toilets and shower are also kept clean and work well.  Adjacent to the cl site is a field which sites about 6-8 vans and this is the same price to members not sure about non members.

Very Peaceful

Just returned from a four night stay at this site, it is a quiet site, but on a good road for access, and getting out and about, there is a bus stop right outside the camp for buses to Lincoln. The friendly owner met us on arrival, showed us to our pitch, and showed us all the facilities. There is plenty of space between the pitches, which adds to the privacy and peacefulness of the site. The Carpenters Arms, a short drive away, is a good place to eat, very friendly, and good portions, booking is recommended, or there may be a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. We would return to this site again if visiting Lincoln.

Three night stay

This is a lovely CL site just outside the village of Fiskerton. The pitches are mostly grass and all have electric hook-up. The owners are friendly and helpful. It has two showers, the old or and the new one which is a wet room with toilet and was basin. Both showers work with a 50p, the new one runs the longest, about 7.5 minutes. Would definitely recommend this site if you are going to visit Lincoln, especially by bus.

Great Site for visiting Lincoln.

Had an enjoyable stay here...the pitches were large and divided by hedges. It's a CL. Site plus caravan site. It is very well maintained and we were lucky enough to get a pitch that had full service. Bus stop was just outside the entrance which is important to us as we have a Motorhome. We had hard standing but not everyone has ,but the grass was short and picked..which always pleases me. Will certainly return here when we visit Lincoln again.

Hope to visit again!

A really friendly site that we would definitely be happy to use again when in the locality. Level pitches, both close-cut grass and hardstanding. Facilities limited, but clean and functional, acceptable for a CL. A five minute walk to the river, with easy access to footpaths and cycle routes. A big plus for visitors wishing to go to Lincoln is the regular bus service (about 20 minutes travel time) that stops outside the main entrance. Prebooking is probably essential most of the year. All in all, thoroughly recommended.

nice quiet site

just had a wonderful 4 days at cl. good location with bus stop out side, also good for walkers and cyclists. got a very friendly welcome. there was even a swimming pool we where free to use. for kids there was swings and trampoline. facilities included one shower with information point a toilet, a new toilet and shower in one (50p). only thing I would improve on would be to be able to dry hands no towel also no bin in loo. nice quiet site will return.

Fabulous Site

Just returned from a 3 night stay here. It is an immaculately kept site with electric, water, shower, toilet, chemical disposal, beautiful location - and all for £11.50 a night!! Bus stops right outside to Lincoln. Alternatively cycle along the river on a flat, scenic path for 5 miles into Lincoln. Carpenter Arms in the village (10 mins walk) serves very tasty home cooked food. Very friendly owners. We will definitely return one day....

Simply a great site.

Stayed for two nights and will definitely return. Ideal for motorhomes as good bus service into Lincoln and some hard standings. Ideal for cyclists and walkers as only a few hundred yards from the "Water Railway" and "Viking Trail". Site is well kept, good facilities that are being improved and a warm welcome. Simply a lovely site close to Lincoln and at only £11.50 per night with electric is very good value. Local pub and shop 5-10 minute walk from site.

Wonderful Location

Beautifully kept site with separate ‘emplacements’ giving it a French feel! Ideally situated only 300 yards from the water rail trail, a mostly tarmac cycle track by the river only 5 miles from Lincoln city centre and 14 miles from Woodhall Spa and beyond. Very quiet, spacious site, with separate toilet and shower room and another toilet/shower room in the making. Friendly owners. Will definitely return

A Welcome Place 19th - 24th March.

This was our first visit to Diamond House, and fully enjoyed our stay. Plenty of pitch choice, toilets and showers (new disabled toilet was being built during our stay), if you are a walker or cyclist you are right next to the cycle routes, and you can go for miles along the River Witham which is only a short walk from the site. It is situated right next to a road that can be busy at times but its the speed that drivers go on it that can be frightening, it would be nice to have an entrance to the site from the adjacent lane so you wouldn't have to go on the road. We pitched round the back of the sheds backing on to the lane which cut out most of the noise from the road. obviously being in the countryside there are rabbits galore, all the country side birds, and resident barn owl, and along with the prize chickens on site there is plenty of wildlife to see. It is perfectly situated to be close enough to Lincoln for visiting but far enough away to miss the hustle and bustle. The local Blue Sky Chinese delivers to the site and you get loads of great tasting food. We will certainly return to the site in the future.
