Perfect countryside site, within an easy reach of Oxford. Great for dogs with multiple footpaths directly from site along with a short walk of 2 local pubs Seven Stars and Mole Inn. Will visit again.
Lovely find
Picked this site last minute as wanted to chase the good weather ! A real find, peaceful and well kept with lots of walks in the area. Marsh Baldon is a beautiful village with a popular country pub serving delicious food.
We hope to return
Great find!
Lovely local site for us which we will definitely return to as a bolt hole for that peaceful weekend break. Such a quiet site which is kept in wonderful condition by the site owner. A short stroll away from the Oxford arboretum which we haven't been to in ages.
Another very relaxing visit
We have been coming to this site for years while visiting our children in Oxford, and it never disappoints. Immaculately kept, it is a haven of beauty and tranquility and yet only a short distance from the city. We have just returned from a stay where we saw red kite, buzzards, a green woodpecker and great spotted woodpecker while simply enjoying the peace and quiet. Lovely village and pubs nearby. The owner is very helpful and welcoming.
Level, quiet and peaceful campsite
5 nights from 7th May 2022
Very convenient for Oxford centre and local supermarkets.
All grass pitches
were in superb condition.
Owner helpful and chatty.
Would stay again!
Beautiful CL
We booked here for 3 nights at short notice in May when visiting our daughter who lives in Oxford . We had a wonderful stay. A beautiful, peaceful site in a lovely village within walking distance of 2 great pubs. We wished we could have stayed longer .
Site is beautifully mowed, very flat , easy access if you follow the directions on the web-site. The owner was welcoming and helpful.
We will definately stay here again.
Lovely site in peaceful location
We stayed here at short notice. When we booked we spoke with a chap who gave clear directions and we found the site with ease. What a lovely site it is too. Immaculately kept and we were the only ones there.
Great nearby pub (Seven Stars) within easy walking distance which also served fab food. Even the locals were very welcoming.
What a beautiful and peaceful place.
We highly recommend this site for those who want to relax and just listen to nature!
Perfect CL in quiet Oxfordshire Countryside
A well-maintained CL site on level ground, set in surprisingly quiet countryside, yet with easy access to Abingdon and Oxford. We enjoyed the local country walks and found two good pubs within walking distance. We plan to return!

Wow, beautiful!
A two night stay at this fabulous CL!
I was advised by the owner, when booking, about not following the sat nav at The Green, and followed the road around to the left at the Seven Stars Pub and round The Green clockwise. Narrow lanes but no issues for access even with my 8.4m motorhome.
On entering the gateway the CL is in the corner of a large field, fenced off, with shrubs and small trees around the edge, it’s level and well mown. Easy access to the water along on side of the site.
Pitched up and spent a couple of hours sitting in the peace and quiet, watching the crows aerobatics over the trees as they chased off some marauding birds of prey.
There is no road noise, no houses nearby, just lovely peace and quiet.
This has to be one of the most peaceful CL’s I’ve been too, and would most definitely make a return visit.
Lovely, level site.
We stayed for a couple of nights in dry weather. The owner drove by to check that we were settled in and have a pleasant chat. Great little site. Lovely level pitches. Very quiet, yet with easy access to Oxford. We have a large unit (Discovery and Elegance 645) but found the access pretty simple. The last 50m has some potholes, but nothing too serious. Reading the directions allowed us to identify the exact location using ‘what three words’ and Waze did a perfect job of navigation. Always with the caveat of follow the map rather than the GPS! Will definitely be returning
