A Suffolk Gem

This CL is ideal for those who want a quiet rural spot but with first class facilities in a great location. The owner has provided a brand new modern toilet and shower block which are spotlessly clean. The open level field with hardstandings enable everyone to enjoy spacious pitches with electric. It's within walking/cycling distance of RSPB Minsmere Reserve and two pubs that serve great beer & food. We would certainly recommend this CL.

Amazing CL

This is an amazing CL. It has been set up with such care and attention. The situation is attractive and has been thoughtfully laid out. The wet rooms are second to none and spotlessly clean. It was almost like having your own private bathroom. For those of you with younger children, there is an attractive playground in the adjacent field. We were made to feel very welcome by the helpful owners who also sell rare breed sausages and burgers from ether freezer (which are excellent). We didn't visit a supermarket once during our visit as there is also an excellent farm shop in the next door village. The situation is perfect. You can easily drive to the nearby local sights and the quiet lanes are perfect for cycling. We cycled to Minsmere and the Eels Foot pub. I can't praise this site highly enough! We will be back!

Great Stay at Fishers Field

Booked this site at the last minute and wasn't disappointed. Only stayed the one night in a campervan so the wet rooms for us were fabulous. As the previous reviewer mentioned the grass was a little long but Neil did explain to us that his mower had broken and the grass would normally be shorter. The only negative for us was the hardstanding surface, which seemed like crushed building rubble which had a quite a lot of glass and metal in it. I'm sure overtime the surface will bed down with more use. Overall I would definitely use this CL if in the area.

Great site

We had one night here and must say this will be a great site once the trees and hedges have matured. Pitched up and Neil came over to introduce himself and explain the facilities. Gave us a great leaflet about the site and surrounding area which was really helpful. The wet rooms are first class and the water and WC empting point are above the standards you get on a CC site. The entrance is a bit tight with some overgrown hedges and trees blocking the track but it is easy to find. Only downside for us was the grass, it was quite long and unkempt which meant it was not nice to walk on after some rain or overnight dew and unsightly to look at, if it was not for that would have marked it the full 5 stars.

Super CL

As this was our first visit to a CL we were not sure what to expect but expectations were exceeded. The new CL site is easy to get access to and has a great shower / WC block to complement the tranquil surroundings. Neil is very helpful but unobtrusive and explains all the facilities as well a print off off local attractions. A great site for exploring the local area.

Fishers Field Suffolk

We spent a week at this CL in July 2016. This is a new venture for the owners Neil & Geraldine and the site had only been open for a few weeks. The welcome we received was excellent. Neil provided us with a very useful handout listing nearby local facilities and telephone numbers, such as the doctors & vet, whilst Geraldine very kindly gave us some fresh strawberries picked from their garden. The site is level with 3 hard standings and has 2 excellent wet rooms/toilets which are free for guests. There is also the use of a large field adjacent to the site/owners home which is great for walking the dog. The site is very close to local amenities, within walking sitance of a good local pub and about 10 miles from the coast. I would have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone and will definitely return at some stage. Thanks Neil & Geraldine and good luck with the venture. Lance, Julia & Fizz

Super CL

What a great CL. situated a couple of miles from Leiston and the coast in the village of Theberton about 300 yards from the from the B1122. The site is large and fairly level, with 2 hard standings. There are 2 great wet rooms with full facilities. The site has only been open a month or so. Great welcome from Neil. Plenty of walks directly from site, we walked to the Eels Foot pub in about 20 minutes on very quiet lanes and a footpath. The village pub (300 yards) does good pub grub and has a selection of real ales. The village has some interesting history with a piece of Zeppelin L48 wreckage in the church which was shoot down in June 1917. From my perspective Minsmere and Dunwich Heath are only a couple of miles away so that's an added bonus. This is one we will hopefully use time and again.  This could, in the future,  become a regional CL of the year winner
