Great site. Perfectly positioned away from the crowds but not too far from what one needs - an ideal holiday base. The local wildlife almost integrated with us on our stay and I was able to get some great photos of a family of deer alongside our pitch, if I'd zoomed in I'd have tapped it's antlers with my lens. Lovely to see them so close. The famous ponies and cattle roam about the area and occasionally trot up the road offering a brief and infrequent interruption to a level of peace I'm not used to but very much appreciate. The water, waste and recycling points are all very clean and accessible and the grass well kept and maintained. In conclusion: peace, quiet, ponies, cows, deer and a definite return to be booked as soon as I can make a hole in my work.
