Lovely and peaceful with amazing views

Lovely well maintained site with friendly owners. The views of Loch Lomond were amazing. We could only get 4 nights because of high demand but would have stay longer if we could.

A van with a view.

What a lovely CL site. Sat nav took us straight to the site. The 3 front pitches have a spectacular view of the hills and lake of Loch Lomand. Good space between each pitch with the water and recycling area not far from our van. We went to Balmaha which is only 2 minutes down the road in the car or a good 30 minutes walk on a very narrow weedy uneven path with very fast vehicles zooming by. You can get bus but not sure on times etc. Once in Balmaha we had a lovely walk through woods and lakeside beaches which were stunning. A hard uphill walk to Conic Hill is a must to see the amazing views of the lake, takes about 50 minutes, but worth it. Plus the sunset from the site was amazing , never see a sun so blood red . I would definitely come here again.

CL with a view

A most beautiful CL with excellent views of loch lomond. Pitches are well kept and the surrounding grass is very tidy and well maintained. Very friendly owners. Site us well located to visit the Southern part of loch lomond. Would not hesitate to recommend this CL.

First outing with our caravan

We found the site easily with the satnav on our journey from Fife.It was the first outing with the caravan. We chose a hardstanding that had a lovely view of Loch Lomond. There was electric hook up & a water tap at the side.Rubbish bins/recycling & waste disposal were opposite. We had a problem with our battery & the farmer was very helpful. It was a perfect time of the year to stay on a working livestock farm with lots of lambs & calves in the fields.I even got the pleasure of meeting 1 day old twin calves. We were ideally situated for visiting/walking to neighbouring places of interest/beauty eg Balmaha. We would highly recommend this site & thoroughy enjoyed our 4 night stay.It was so peaceful & wonderful to wake up to the stunning views. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

Great views towards Loch Lomond

Single night stay en-route to Bunree. Lovely CL, peaceful and with amazing views towards Loch Lomond and well kept. As a motorhomer, the only disappointment was the lack of public footpaths down to the Loch. The walk alongside the road on a narrow pavement to Balmaha was dangerous at times, with some day trippers heading down to the tourist trap having no regard for the speed limits. Once in Balmaha (about 1.25 miles) the walk by the loch side was fantastic.

Beautifully peaceful

This was my first ever outing with my first ever caravan and I couldn't have asked for a better place! So quiet and peaceful, beautiful views overlooking the Loch and hills, sheep grazing a couple of feet from the caravan.....perfect. Very relaxed and chilled experience, we will definateky be back 😁

Perfect CL

We spent two nights on our way further north and another night on our way home. Easy to find, incredible views over Loch Lomond, lovely sheep and cattle around the farm, close to walks around the Loch and hills. a wonderful start and finish to a great holiday.

beautiful site

great little site, all the pitches are hard standing, with a turning circle in the middle which made maneuvering easy, we stopped ion the corner pitch which seemed the only one that sloped slightly to one corner, but after a bit of a fiddle we found a place where the van and awning were in level ish ground, EHU was very close to each pitch which was great, waist point was easy accessed from each pitch to, but the best part of the site is the view, watching the sunset over Loch Lomond is stunning, and just down the road is easy access tot he Loch, with a little pub and ice cream shop, it makes it a great location, we would definitely stop here again when up in Scotland.
