We didn't see this site at its best during our 2 night stay as the rain fell for hours! However, in sunshine or rain the view of the Loch is stunning. Drive along the road to Balmaha with it's visitor centre, local walks, shop and pub and then on towards Rowardennan - every bend and dip in the road is worth an oooh! Gartfairn Farm is a busy working farm with sheep and cattle, the owner was friendly and the facilities basic but ample.

Nice CL with good views in most directions, but looking over the farm is not so good. One of those CL' s where it is best to check first if they will be having a rally set up in the ajoining field, using the CL facilities while you plan to be there.

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review, just to let you know the site has contacted us to advise that the rally was a small rally, held only once a year. They would hope the rally wouldn't detract from the peace and tranquillity, or the fantastic views over the loch that the site provides. Thank you again.
