Friendly Family and correct pricing for site.

Easy to locate and has a tight entrance then a farm track to the site which we found to be bumpy in the motor home. Pitches are not so level and we had to use the ramps. A board or something would be helpful with information to advise what to do on arrival, for example how/where to pitch or pay as it is a working farm and there was no one around to ask. The family are very friendly and the view is amazing facing a Loch in the distance.

Our easter break

We stayed for 5 nights in April and had a fantastic time, with great views over the loch and plenty of lambs being born, which pleased our children immensely! The owners were very helpful in pointing out walks around the area and telling us about where to spot Red Deer and the area was great for sight-seeing. We definitely hope to return to this site again - thank you very much for making us welcome.

Beautiful Location, fantastic views over Loch Lomond

We stayed for three nights on this wondefully scenic site. The site has just been converted to all hard standings so earlier reviews of being stuck in the mud should now be resolved. The site overlooks Loch Lomond from a slightly elevated postion and is just wondeful. Full CL facilities provided although like others we did not see much of the owners. Access from the road is simple and directions to the site as stated in handbook are very accurate. If you want views, peace and quite and relativley easy access to Loch Lomond and the surrounds you won't go far wrong here. Absolutely beautiful.

Lovely Location

This CL is in a wonderful location with excellent views. We hardly saw the owners but they seemed friendly and helpful. The only problem with the site is that the grass was approx. 6 inches long and the ground was very wet with some large muddy holes where it was obvious people had been stuck. The owners can do nothing about the wet weather but if the grass was short the problems would be reduced. Despite this, we will certainly consider returning.

Excellent site, wonderful views

We loved this site, fantastic view over loch Lomond islands situated close enough to Balmaha to walk down and catch the ferry to Luss or smaller mail boat or ferry to the nearest island. Site owner was very accommodating and we both wished we could have spent longer than the 5 nights we spent here. There are miles of scenic drives nearby, or walks/bike tracks for those more energetic than us.

Stunning location overlooking the loch

Agree with other reviews that this is a beautiful place to stop and recharge the batteries. You can access the Nature Reserve of the eastern side of the loch directly from the farm - about a 10 minute stroll down from the farm. Lovely and peaceful down by the loch, very few people around and plenty of bird and wildfowl activity.
