Our favourite stop-over
We have stopped here quite a few times on our way north, it's a nice little site close to the M6. You can walk into the village, to the pub and down the lanes and (apart from the adjacent railway line) it's fairly peaceful. During the wet months we were able to stay on hardstanding as we're quite heavy, We also like the warm shower room, especially nice in the colder months and the farm setting - there were some very cute lambs last time we stayed!
