Ease of arrival/welcome

Value for money

This is a working farm. On arrival we were greeted by the owner who guided us onto our hardstanding pitch (slightly sloping,) set back from the grassy area and close to the cow barns. We did however ask for hardstanding. There was already one caravan on this area. It is a tight area for two if you were to put out a canopy or an awning. The grassed part of the CL is well manicured and has lovely views looking up the valley. Throughout the day the trains run frequently along the lines to the rear of the CL. I slept soundly. There are sheep, cows and many cats and all the rural sounds and smells and a small brook that runs at the bottom of the CL. This would be ideal for families with children as they would enjoy the animals as well as the sunken trampoline. This CL has a decent toilet and shower. There is also a toilet for the disabled. There is an honesty box for the use of the shower. There apparently is a village and pub a short walk away. For £20/ night inclusive of electricity this CL is good value for money.
