Peaceful spacious site
Stayed 5 nights, quiet spacious grass pitches, lake nearby and hotel on lake within 10 minutes walk. Climbed Caider Idris from the site, stunning views. Lovely walk from the site over fields about a mile and a half to Dollgellau with tea shops etc. parked at nearby train station for Cambrian train to Pwhelli, crosses Barmouth bridge with lovely views en-route, hop on/off ticket £10. Recommend the Mawdach trail, we biked from Barmouth to Dollgellau (12miles) either way.
