Outstanding CL site

Goodleigh Hill is an absolutely excellent CL site. We stayed here for 7 nights in July. We really can’t fault the way the site is run. It is exceptionally well maintained and kept clean. The pitches are large and each has water and grey waste facilities. The large wildflower meadow is a delight and there is plenty of space for those who have dogs to walk them. The free site wifi worked well while we were there. Emily runs the site in a very friendly and helpful manner. Her information folder is packed with ideas for things to do and visit in the local area. She even has a small ‘mini shop’ on site selling local produce including Goodleigh’s own delicious apple juice. The town of Pershore is an easy 10 minute walk away and has all the shops you might need plus restaurants and pubs. We can’t recommend this CL highly enough and will definitely be returning for further visits.

Brilliant CL site!

Echo all the previous reviews. Emily and her dad are the perfect hosts, they made us feel very welcome and the CL site is amazing. Great directions and comprehensive ‘welcome guide’ on arrival. The pitches are huge, flat and all have a lovely of the meadow. The hook up points/grey waste easy to use and well maintained and the disposal area is very clean and tidy. This site is literally 10 minutes from the town where I spent far too much money in the lovely shops and restaurants ;). Thank you so much Emily for making our last minute getaway so enjoyable.

Very good cl

Excellent CL site. Very spacious, flat hardstanding adult only pitches with water and elec. Immaculately kept with a large grass area and wildflower meadow and very friendly and informative owners with lots of useful information about the local area and attractions. The site itself is very peaceful site except that there is a busy country road adjacent to the pitches (shame that with so much land these have been placed so close to the road) and enjoyment may be impacted by how much that is of concern to you. The road had a significant amount of traffic from early to very late.

First class CL

Stayed here in May for 5 nights, got to say it is a first class site immaculately kept by Emily and her father. They could not have been more helpful and were so well organised. The pitches are generous with electric, water and grey waste for each pitch. It’s only a 10 minute walk or so to into Pershore with its shops and a good selection of eating places. There are lots of lovely walks by the river Avon. We walked to Birlingham and had a lovely lunch at the Swan Inn, much recommended and a great Sunday lunch at the Angel in Pershore. The weather wasn’t very kind to us, but we will definitely be returning to this site, you will not be disappointed

Another gem in the CL crown

Just returned from this wonderful site, cannot fault it at all. Massive big fully serviced pitches, plenty of room between, a big field to walk round with the dog. Emily your host is most welcoming, given a big folder with loads of info, a nice easy walk down into Pershore on the river Avon, plenty of shops, pubs, eating places. Beautiful area to explore, 6 miles from Evesham. Well done to Emily and her Dad Matthew, they have worked really hard to make this a success in spite of 3 lockdowns. Cannot recommend enough, thank you

First Class

6 nights here mid October, I can't add much to the previous comments. Superb CL, lovely welcome from Emily & Father Matthew. Spotlessly clean all over. This is a relatively new CL, and it shows. Thank you for your efforts in making our stay so enjoyable.

Fantastic Week Away

Can only agree with previous reviewers what a brilliant site this is, it must be one of the best CL's around. Emily and her father Matthew work tirelessly to make everyones stay as enjoyable as possible and are always on hand if you have any queries or to chat. At the moment the autumnal colours in the trees on site are beautiful and so pleasant to look at, There are numerous circular walks from the site which is very good as you don't need to use your vehicle. IF you decide to visit you most definitely will not be disappointed. We wish them continued success in their venture.

'MISTLETOE AND WINE!!'

After an easy approach we were welcomed on to this lovely flat site by Emily, she told us where to find things on the site and she is very knowledgeable about the area, The large gravel pitches overlook a wild flower meadow (when in bloom) and trees with plenty of mistletoe in them, There is a small glass house with maps and leaflets and 'goodies' (edible) for sale. The site is clean and very well kept and it is very convenient having waste water drianage, a tap and ehu on each pitch, 10 units of electricity are allowed in the nightly fee, so if cold weather be careful!! There were problems with the wi fi which were going to be sorted Locally there is a nice walk beside the river, eiither walking down the private footpath from the site or parking in the carpark at the bridge. For any geocachers visiting the site there are some caches around. We drove the circular route around Bredon Hill calling at the local pottery where we had an interesting talk from the owner. There is an ASDA in Pershore and Morrisons in Evehsham. Plenty of places to visit including National Trust. Gdoodleigh Hill CL have a facebook page with up to date info on it Thanks Emily for making us welcome and for thiose considering this CL we are sure you wont be dissappointed

Fabulous

Sadly I only had two days at this lovely site but hope to be back for more exploring soon. Lovely warm and friendly welcome from Emily who was very helpful and informative throughout my stay. A lot of thought has gone into the site which is pristine, great location in a beautiful part of the world.

Great stay, we'll be back

We thoroughtly enjoyed our stay. Emily was so helpful & friendly & the site couldn't be faulted. They have done an excellent job in setting up this new site. Congratulations to Matthew for his vision. Site was very secure with a great walking path down to Pershore so as to keep visitors off the road. Very safe Covid pecautions, which hopefully won't be needed next year! Lots of little extras like information book. Very pleasant to have the views over the large field rather than just the camping area. We loved Pershore with the lovely independent shop with fruit outside & the butcher. Definitely hope to return as there is till more to see in the area, especially after covid.
