Got to be one of the Best

This is a superb site, pitches are massive all hardstanding, fully serviced. Emily is tremendous a fountain of information and the folder of things of interest, maps etc is amazing. We have never felt so at home here. If you have a long outfit just make sure you are squared up on entry, but it is not a problem. The little glass store with apple juice and pickles etc are amazing and good value. Will be back even if it's just for the juice. Also there is an easy walk into town with plenty of places to eat.

Doesn’t get much better than this.

We have just returned from a mid October break at Goodleigh Hill CL Pershore. Though members of the Club for 15 years, or so, this is only our second experience of a CL. In our opinion Goodleigh Hill is outstanding in terms of location, access, welcome and care of site. During our week we experienced Buzzards overhead, an evening visit from Barn Owl, a Badger and an early morning visit from a from a Roe Deer and her two Fawns. Matthew and daughter Emily deserve great credit for developing such an award winning site. We thoroughly enjoyed Pershore with its beautiful Georgian architecture and the many outstanding villages nearby. Two eating out places we will look forward to returning to are the Swan Inn at Birlingham and Eckington Manor. Can’t recommend highly enough. Stuart & Margaret Cornwell

Excellent site

One of the very best sites we have stayed on. Emily made us feel very welcome. The site is beautifully maintained and we would love to come back. We would highly recommend this site and would encourage others to visit.

Best standard of CL site we have visited. Matthew was a great host and Emily provided to d of information. Met all our lovely neighbours and had great chats. Loved the fact we could park across the pitch giving us a peaceful uninterupted scenic view. My electric trycycle created dome banter and the pitches are very substantial. Home grown apple juice was a real treat and now winging its way back to Wales. Brought our own apples with us but not required as we've never seen so many apples and orchards! We will be back for more exploring and really enjoyed our few pub visits in Pershore leading to the river and Chinese and Thai takeaways.. VERY well done guys x

Another winner for its location!

We recently spent 3 nights over a weekend here. Excellent entrance gate nice and secure with pin no. access. Pitches looked great but unfortunately Emily had to put us on the 'overflow' area of the croquet lawn as she needed our original pitch for someone who was arriving late at night when she wasnt around. We were OK with this as the lawn area was very nice and we were on our own with access to water and electric. The location is so close to the town of Pershore you would be hard pressed to find a site in a better spot. There is a small gate in the corner of the site that leads downwards on a slate path to a gate at the bottom with a combination padlock so again keeping things secure. Then its only 10 mins to walk into town and all its offerings. There are great walks all around and some pretty little villages to visit also either by bike or vehicle. We did venture out in our Hymer once and that was for sunday lunch at Eckington Manor which turned out to be delicious and is somewhere we would go again. Emily provides loads of great info in her folders that she gives out to her guests so you are not short of things to do. Oh and pls try her homemade apple juice that is available in the small glass hut that she has on the site. It was so good I think we got through at least 3 bottles and was ideal as a mixer in our gin :-) Unfortunately at the time of our stay there was a local road closure which meant traffic was being diverted onto the hill that runs parallel to the site so we did hear noise during the day but not so much at night and once the diversion has been removed I think it would be much better. Definitley a site for us though and we will be going back when we get the chance! Simon and Sarah

Great Stay

Lovely greeting from Emily who was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Plenty of local walks which our Golden Retrievers loved, we particularly enjoyed the walk into Wick, a beautiful village and amazing to see the real flower confetti fields in bloom, also it was great to be able to walk into Pershore and Wyre Piddle. Loads more walks to do on our next visit. Large fully serviced pitches and nice to be able to pitch any way you like, we faced the wild flower meadow which had a pleasant walk around it. Great security gate entrance but take care on first approach as it can be tight until you’re aware. Thank you Matthew and Emily for a lovely stay… we’ll be back!

Fabulous CL.

Well this cl site is absolutely enhanced by Emily who meets and greets and issues each pitch with their own guide to local information. The pitches are fully serviced hard standing and large with plenty of room between pitches with grass To the front of the pitches there is a large grassed area and a dog walk around the perimiter . Such a neat and tidy site which is worthy of CL of the year. There is a coded electric gate to enter and a private walkway which leads you to the outskirts of Pershore town. We would never hesitate to return and are looking forward to our next visit . Emily and her dad are constantly tending all areas and the excellent upkeep is a testament to their hard work. Such a pleasure to meet hosts who really care about their guests. Its a big thumbs up from us carry on the good work.

Outstanding CL site

Goodleigh Hill is an absolutely excellent CL site. We stayed here for 7 nights in July. We really can’t fault the way the site is run. It is exceptionally well maintained and kept clean. The pitches are large and each has water and grey waste facilities. The large wildflower meadow is a delight and there is plenty of space for those who have dogs to walk them. The free site wifi worked well while we were there. Emily runs the site in a very friendly and helpful manner. Her information folder is packed with ideas for things to do and visit in the local area. She even has a small ‘mini shop’ on site selling local produce including Goodleigh’s own delicious apple juice. The town of Pershore is an easy 10 minute walk away and has all the shops you might need plus restaurants and pubs. We can’t recommend this CL highly enough and will definitely be returning for further visits.

Brilliant CL site!

Echo all the previous reviews. Emily and her dad are the perfect hosts, they made us feel very welcome and the CL site is amazing. Great directions and comprehensive ‘welcome guide’ on arrival. The pitches are huge, flat and all have a lovely of the meadow. The hook up points/grey waste easy to use and well maintained and the disposal area is very clean and tidy. This site is literally 10 minutes from the town where I spent far too much money in the lovely shops and restaurants ;). Thank you so much Emily for making our last minute getaway so enjoyable.

Very good cl

Excellent CL site. Very spacious, flat hardstanding adult only pitches with water and elec. Immaculately kept with a large grass area and wildflower meadow and very friendly and informative owners with lots of useful information about the local area and attractions. The site itself is very peaceful site except that there is a busy country road adjacent to the pitches (shame that with so much land these have been placed so close to the road) and enjoyment may be impacted by how much that is of concern to you. The road had a significant amount of traffic from early to very late.
