Top notch CL

What a great CL, if all CL was like this one, club sites wouldn't be needed. perfect for coast & fell visits. We enjoyed our stay & intend to return later this year. Great sunset location.

Perfect C.L.

A super site in an ideal location with an extremely helpful and friendly owner. We have just completed 4 days at Greenacre and it was a pleasure staying there. The toilet was spotless and the whole site was immaculate ,a credit to the owner Mark. Each pitching area has its individual water tap and grey waste point as well as a hookup. The view over the valley was something special also. We will be calling again.

Greenacre an absolute jewel

Best CL Site we have stayed at lovely site great views and the best priced site we have stayed on. All this and super pitch water and drainage, electricity and Wi Fi included. There is also the use of a toilet and shower if required. Mark who runs the site works non stop keeping the grass and hedges in pristine condition. Couldn't be more pleased that we stayed at this site. Will definitely be back.

Amazing value & beautiful site!

Having read earlier reviews it seemed a certainty that this site would be fantastic. It actually exceded my expectations in every way. The "serviced" mains water & waste water facilities worked faultlessly as did the free wifi, which was a great bonus. The site fees are exceptional value for the amazing facilities provided. Mark, the owner works tirelessly to keep this beautiful site immaculate. When I arrived he quickly offered to help me level my caravan but I foolishly thought the gear that I brought with me would do the job. After 30 or minutes of my faffing about he offered again and quickly showed me how to use the blocks he has available to raise the caravan around 4" on one side. He had the caravan levelled in 2-3 minutes!! so I will be able to quickly to do this next time I stay at the site. I wholeheartedly recommend this site.

Stunning Site

We stayed at this site 14th-17th October and have to say this is one of the best sites we have stayed on.  When we arrived we were asked where we would like to pitch and parked at the top of the field so as to be able to look at the breathtaking views.  The field is on a slope so blocks are required to level the van and the fully serviced pitch is a real bonus.  The shower and toilet are very clean.  Expect we'll stay here again when we're back in the area.

Loved This Site

Loved this cl. Good access, the entry has been widened since photo 2 was taken. A sloping field of short mown grass gives far reaching views over the surrounding countryside. all pitches had their own tap, ehu and drain. Seperate shower (50p) and toilet are very well kept. A small playground is a bonus for those with children. The site now has a pod in one corner of the field which could be useful if family/friends wish to come along. Being on the west side of the lake district it is handy for taking in the coastal area of Cumbria and there is an hourly service within a 10min walk with buses from Whitehaven to Keswick and all in between. This cl has been in the same family for 35 years and was well patronised whilst we were there so I would suggest booking.

The site is excellent value at the present price which also includes free WiFi

STUNNING CL.

I have to write a review of this CL as it is has to be the best CL we have ever visited, We have just returned from a ten Day break, As usual first day on arrival pulled onto pitch, and the heavens opened . Got drenched ! okay so its expected but part of the holiday, Half hour later blazing sunshine got awning up ready to chill for ten days, Graham the owner was very helpful on our arrival pointed usual things bins waste ect. All pitches are fully serviced, all pitches have stunning views  , Graham gave us literature on what's on in the area also parking disc so where sign posted you can park for either one or two hours free . local pub the Royal Yew,  serves excellent food, easy access to  nearby towns, and lakes, I would highly recommend a visit to this site, Finally there is a pod on site should you fancy something different,

Great location and stunning views, dont forget 50p for shower

Lovely site, great facilities and organised, although pleased we got the flat pitch rather than the sloping as we have no auto movers. Dog friendly and plenty of space for us to pitch up. There was a pod plus 5 caravans on the site. Don't forget your 50p for the shower though, this caught me by surprise - hence ended up showering in my van.

Lovely site

A great site with lovely views. Site is immaculate but could do with a second  toilet especially now there is a pod on the site as well. The CL rule of 5 outfits was broken twice while we were there which was no problem space wise but rules are rules.

Spectacular view and immaculate

Perhaps the best kept Cl we have ever used. Utterly tidy site. Toilet and shower spotless. Fully serviced pitches reserved by name tag for new arrivals. Recently widened entrance ... easy to access. Wi Fi great. Location description a bit confusing ... ensure you access off the A66 AFTER you have passed the Cockermouth roundabout towards Workington.
