Fantastic CL

Greenacre
This is a marvelous CL, we stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The site is immaculate and the owners take great pride in it with beautiful flower beds and little hedges separating the pitches. Pitches are very spacious and there is a large area in the middle for children to run off steam. Each pitch has access to water and waste and the chemical point and toilet and shower is only a short walk. Our only slight quibble would be you need 50p for a shower. The site is in the quieter area of the Lakes but in easy reach to all the main attractions. Our children loved Whinlatter forest and climbing some of the 600-800m mountains. Would definitely come back here again.

Best CL in Lake District

Greenacre
We returned for our third fortnightly visit to this site and will return next year. Everything you need on a CL better than a club site any day, not that we've stayed on one for years! Nothing is too much trouble for Mark or Graham, ease to site your outfit on large pitches most with fabulous views, the weather we had added to it. Easy access and to get to from with local amenities close to hand. This corner of Cumbria has plenty to offer with lakes, beaches, harbours, walks galore all within an easy distance as is the borders. Idyllic and quiet countryside to relax in. It ticks all our boxes for a fantastic time away.

Spent a week here and couldn't fault it. Immaculately kept and friendly helpful owners. Handy for the coast and western lakes without too much driving. Will definitely be back.

Great CL

Greenacre
We've just returned from a 6 night break at this great CL. Lovely peaceful large lawned site with spacious pitches, all with their own waste and water points. The views are amazing, and we had some cracking sunsets. Highly recommended.

Lovely site

Greenacre
We stayed here 7-14 May 2019, using the site as a base for walking this part of the England Coast Path. On arrival we saw our pitch was reserved for us, and Mr. Abbot gave us a warm welcome, and showed us where everything was. The site is sloping away from the house, but this just gave better views of the countryside across the valley, and plenty of wooden blocks were available for levelling up. A very well-kept site, and we would definitely return here if in the area. -
