Perfect peace

Stayed here for 3 nights in early July in our motorhome. Owners were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely well kept and maintained site, pitches were of a very good size. Exceptionally clean shower and toilet block. One you are quite happy to use! Highly recommend this site. Will definitely be back for another visit.

July 2015

Just got home from 4 nights at this site. The site is lovely with very friendly owners (even my terrier Tilly was welcomed by Max the dog). The pitches are huge and didn't get soggy despite the typical British weather. Tilly loved the dog walk and we enjoyed watching the butterflies while she ran around. The shower was a welcome surprise, it's big, is a proper shower not one of those silly push button things and always had hot water. This is one site we will definitely be visiting again.

Superb CL

We stayed here for 5 days around the end of May while visiting family nearby and attending a friends wedding. It was our second visit in a year and Gareth and Melanie continue to provide a beautifully maintained CL and a warm friendly welcome. The pitches and facilities are first class and they are always happy to provide advice and assistance about the local area....especially their recommended dog walks. We had a hectic schedule this time so were not able to soak up the tranquility but next time we visit we will!

Quiet restful retreat.

Very well kept and layed out site, all facilities clean and well thought out. The owners are caravaners themselves and it shows in the care they offer to their visitors. Lovely countryside with beautiful walks and views.

Hidden Gem!

Just returned from a wonderful 5 nights at this superb, friendly site. Owners couldn't do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. Facilities were absolutely spotless at all times, excellent location, nice views and very peaceful and ideally situated for site seeing and lovely dog friendly beeches not too far away. Local farm shop excellent for daily groceries, had Sunday Lunch in the Crows Nest, outstanding, well worth a visit. Already planning a return visit, owners really did make us feel welcome.

Excellent base for North Cornwall

We really enjoyed our stay here and would visit again. Some nice walking from the site but also easy access to either coast. The welcome was very warm; we would recommend the CL for a short or longer stay.

Good place for a break

A very peaceful & pleasant site with views over the countryside. Couldn't ask for a more helpful and cheerful welcome.Narrow access road, not suitable for large vans. Would use it again for a short break as we live in west Cornwall.Toilets and shower first class.

Superb LocalPlacesOfInterest

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful site on the side of Bodman Moor. The grass is very short and the site well kept and tidy. The toilets and free shower were spotless. We cycled over and around Siblyback Lake and also walked up to the Hurlers and Cheese Ring. Another footpath takes you over to the Waterfalls. Highly recommended site.

A wonderful week in July

This is a beautiful spot to spend a week visiting Cornwall. The site is perfectly maintained with well spaced pitches and spotless facilities.  Oakly, our Viszla thoroughly enjoyed the dog walking field as much as we enjoyed the peace and tranquility. The owners are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The local farm shop in St Cleer sells an abundance of goods, and the pub is dog friendly ... perfect.  We shall certainly put this on our list of sites to revisit. A word of caution though, please drive carefully through the village and to the site, because most of the drivers we encountered certainly did not.
