Excellent bank holiday short stay

Just spent a pleasant 5 night stay at Hendrifton Farm. Owners were very welcoming and gave us great local info. The site is well laid out and the toilet and shower block was spotless. Good recycling facilities. Good walks locally and the lake is just down the lane for those that enjoy watersports. We would definately visit again.

Ssssh, don't tell other members that this gem is here!!

Just back from a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Hendrifton Farm. Such a beautiful spot with bags of space and very friendly owners; and not forgetting "Max" their little dog. Worth checking out their website: www.hendrifton.co.uk just to read his blog! Pitches are spacious and grassed, facilities are spotless and after a day's hiking the shower had oodles of hot water! And they pretty much have recycling bins (and a dog bin!) for everything! Nearby are Siblyback Reservoir (which we cycled 'round!), Cheesewring, Hurlers and Golitha Falls. As with the site, all are dog friendly. We will be back soon as we found parts of Cornwall we hadn't discovered and Hendrifton provided a good base for exploration. In the middle of the site is a smashing patch of thick lush grass that is perfect for children learning to ride without stabilisers......our daughter perfected this here!! There is a good Farm shop nearby in St. Cleer which is well worth a visit not just for provisions but also for wonderful Cornish goodies! (and gas!) If you are visiting please give Max a belly rub from us!!

GREAT CENTRAL LOCATION

GREAT CENTRAL LOCATION. Site very clean with 5 good sized pitches all with electric. one male and one female toilet and one good sized shower . Owners very friendly and Max the dog will give you a great welcome. We walked round the 2 mile lake at the top of the lane every morning . Nice little cafe for anybody who doesn't fancy a walk and good play park for small children and high ropes course for older children . That's the dog happy and out teenager, so off on our travels. 90 minutes away we went to Lands End we went to Newquay Boscastle Falmouth, Looe and many many more. Beaches in this area good. If you enjoy walking the Bodmin moor a must and coastal walks . We had a great time and would love to return. The owners gave us some great information on local places to eat the crows nest a must. You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay at this small and very friendly site.
