Well organised relaxing spot

Just had 3 nights here , easy to book online, easy to find. Its an open well mown site, with a good spread out of hook ups. It is sloping but within caravan leg adjustment. We were after a bit of shade and found pitch 1 next to some trees which was perfect for our dogs in such warm weather. Well organised, a friendly welcome, and used no where near our power consumption allowance. I think this is a really good idea that means we don’t all pay for big users! Pricing very reasonable at £16.50/ night including EHU. We drove around the area, the Forest of Bowland is a lovely route, and had a cruise along Blackpools busy seafront. Dog walking off site is tricky if you use the footpath just down the road, it is fine for walkers and small dog owners but you have to lift them over the stiles! The best bet is to drive down the road and take the small road by the local pub, The Stork (which looked great but we didn’t use) park free in the car park at the end of that road between 5pm and 9am and have a lovely walk along the coastal path or bike track. Dogs loved it! A most enjoyable relaxing few days.
