We've just returned from three nights on High Farm and can't praise it highly enough. As has already been noted in other reviews it is at the end of the road so is extremely peaceful with no passing traffic (apart from the odd tractor coming & going!). It's a decent size field with EHU's down one side and services at the end of the site - a bathroom is nearing completion and will be a great additional feature once completed. There are wonderful views to the west and the south - walk a mile further up the track to reach a trig point which also provides far reaching views of the moors. The sire offers WiFi which is another bonus and shows that Ailsa & Ian are clearly committed to updating their site and making it even better than it already is. Our only note of caution concerns Google Maps - while the website correctly shows the location of the farm using the postcode, the app on the phone has it elsewhere which led to us driving a couple of miles up the wrong track and then having to do a twenty point turn in a farm yard. Follow the instructions into Pockley but as you come to the end of the village turn right following the sign to Beadlam & Beadlam Rigg and then turn left onto a single track road that takes you (logically) past Low Farm & Middle Farm before reaching High Farm. That minor point aside, this is a wonderful CL which we can't recommend too highly - we'll be back!
