Another thoroughly enjoyable stay at Hilltops. Shelley and Brian are warm and welcoming hosts and the site is beautifully maintained, with stunning views. We have been caravanners for over 20 years and have stayed in many CLs; Hilltops remains our favourite.
Fabulous CL - highly recommended
Stayed here for the Easter bank holiday. Fabulous CL with a great outlook.
Nicely kept grass and a spotless toilet facility. Very friendly owners.
Close to plenty of tourist attractions - Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor, Clarks Village, etc.
Hard to fault - on our list to return to!
Hidden gem/jewel in CAMC’s crown
Wow. What an amazing place Hilltops is. The welcome we received was so warm and friendly from both Brian and Shelley. The facilities and grounds were immaculate. Brian is a very interesting man with a passion for his cars and engines, he has such a wicked sense of humour, we haven’t laughed so much in ages. Shelley clearly loves her gardening beautiful flowers and plants everywhere on site. The view is breathtaking, and a brilliant base for exploring Langport, Wells, Glastonbury and Cheddar. Electric hook up, wifi , but what made this site stand out were the hosts. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. Highly recommended, we will be going back without a doubt. Thank you Brian and Shelley for your hospitality. From Greg, Debbie & Bonnie xx
Another amazing stay!
This is our second time at this wonderful site in Somerset and it will not be the last.
Such a wonderful well run and presented site with beautiful views.
Shelley and Brian the owners are helpful and informative without being intrusive.
There is enough room to get our 5th wheeler in without any problems.
It's located so well for tourist sites, good pubs and restaurants or just chilling out.
We highly recommend a stay at Hilltops, a true gem!
Thank you Brian and Shelley.
5*!
A beautiful site, immaculately kept, with stunning views to the south & many places of interest to visit locally. The owners went out of their way to make us welcome and we felt very much at home. We hope to return!

A splendid return visit
We were delighted to be back at Hilltops recently, this time with our caravanning friends, who also loved the site. The owners, Shelley and Brian are always friendly and helpful and the site itself is extremely peaceful and in a fascinating area of the country. It is well-maintained with the most amazing views from all five of the spacious pitches. There has been a significant upgrade in WiFi availability since our last visit. We still have so much to discover in an area that has something for everyone, so we will definitely be back for round 3!

Magical!
Hilltops is a beautiful site, extremely well tended by Brian and Shelley. The website pictures don't really reflect how very smart it is. The toilet block is super immaculate. High Ham and the surrounding area is amazingly quiet. We stayed for three nights but would have liked to stay longer. We'll be back!
One of the best in the South of England
Hilltops is genuinely one of the best sites in the South of England, well maintained by the nicest owners you could ever want to meet, with fantastic views over the Somerset countryside, and as others have said there are lots of places to visit within 10-15 miles, National Trust properties, Farm shops, Garden centres, RSPB sites as well as opportunities for shopping for all that stuff you didn't know you wanted till you see it.
We have stayed a few times now, will do again, and will always look forward to going to Hilltops. You will too!
Just Right
Enjoyed 4 nights last week at Hilltops. Can’t fault the site or the owners. Fantastic views across South Somerset and very peaceful. We were a little concerned because we had a new puppy with us but the area was perfect for walking him off site. Short car drive to various places of interest.
The site facilities were excellent - very clean and well maintained and the tv and WiFi reception were also top notch.
Don’t approach from Pedwell, the peat moors have caused the road to subside in places, instead ring the site owner Brian and he will explain a much better route
Looking forward to returning soon

Best views
This site has some of the best views of any
CL we’ve stayed at.Lovely and quiet with zero
road noise, just the sound of the bees and the birds.
The toilet was immaculately clean and had a good selection of reading material. There’s an honesty box for some fresh garden produce and a convenient and extensive recycling area.
Brian and Shelley were very friendly and helpful.
Will certainly visit again.
