Wonderful Site

We loved this site! It’s on a working farm in rural Yorkshire, approached by winding narrow lanes (you get used to it!) The hosts, Wendy and David, were very welcoming, and showed us to a level, gravelled pitch surrounded by hilly farmland. We had 3 rhea birds for neighbours, and looked forward David and his dogs coming to tend them every day, and they often stopped for a friendly chat too. There’s a fantastic Co-op in Gargrave , and a good fish and chip shop too! There’s also an upmarket farm shop with a cafe nearby. We came to walk in nearby Malham Cove and surrounding area, and were not disappointed! There are several great walks and a great pub! We also spent a pleasant day in Skipton. And enjoyed some fantastic home grown Aberdeen Angus steaks from the deep freeze; seriously good beef! We definitely want to come again!
