Ease of arrival/welcome

Superb value for money and lovely owners

It's been so wet this year, but we booked Hurst Farm last Wednesday for a 2 night weekend fairly close to home as forecast was improving and after lots of consultation with the owners re state of the grass and size of our van. A few dry days and it was all mown for our arrival Friday afternoon. Other reviews spot on. we stayed fairly close to the entrance but had good views and we were only outfit on site. The field is huge so no problems re space. As a self contained camper van we don't need facilities but it's great to have the clean hot shower especially as we planned mountain bike outings. We were welcomed with open arms by Gloria, shown all the facilities (and we had plenty of water from home as knew the water tap wasn't accessible with a hose) and had the kettle on in five minutes. Superb mountain biking and walking, we did an mtb loop over the top from Little Malvern towards Malvern then over to Ledbury for lunch and back via Castlemorten Common. First sun of the year. Bluebells were out and the Malvern half marathon was on. Lovely to finally have the van door open whilst cooking and enjoying the peace and quiet. On Sunday we headed back onto the beacon with our mtbs after taking the road to Malvern and a coffee by the museum. Glorious gravel tracks on the Eastern side through bluebells. Gloria was happy for us to be back later, and insisted on opening the gate for our departure. Fantastic site, don't need or want or to pay for ehu so perfect. just plan your water requirements if fill via hose. We will be back!
