Peaceful stay

What a lovely site, spent 3 days here and was surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was. We had the pitch at the top of the hill with lovely views. Well kept site, pitches were mowed as soon as people left. Lovely dog walk at the beautiful country park a couple of minutes away. Kathy was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this lovely site.

Fabulous Holiday

We chose to stay at Kimberley for our two week holiday and what a great choice it was. There are five pitches, all with ehu and well spaced out. Kathy, the owner is lovely and accommodated us with friends together as we requested. Communication with Kathy was first class right from booking the site to leaving at the end of our holiday. The site is very well maintained with grass mown between occupants leaving and new arrivals. The site is tucked away behind Kathy's house and away from the road. The centre of Dawlish is only a short drive away and Sainsburys is about a two or three minute drive away.. For those who have never been down this area before, try the ferry from Staircross to Exmouth, a great day out. Also worth visiting is the village and country park of Cockington near Torquay. The weather was hot and sunny and really helped this great experience. Book this CL, you will not be disappointed.

Another wonderful stay.

Always enjoy our stay with Kathy the owner. It is a perfect location to see the delights that South Devon has to offer. With peaceful evenings enjoying the views and nature. It really is a little bit of heaven in Devon.

Perfect peaceful base for weekend

We have just got back from a weekend on this site. We've had a lovely peaceful weekend. A simple but perfect base for us to explore the area. This is a good location giving access to some fab areas, Dawlish, Dawlish Warren, Starcross, Teignmouth etc. We walked lots and took in some fab sights. The owner Kathy was friendly and helpful and we will certainly be back and highly recommend this site. Thanks for everything Kathy!!

Kimberley

Lovely peaceful site with lovely views from the site. Kathy, the friendly owner, was extremely helpful. Great walking through Dawlish Country Park down to Dawlish Warren and along the sea wall, such an interesting area. Would definitely recommend this spacious well kept site.

A little haven

What a little gem, can't be seen from the road, very quiet and peaceful. Walked from the site into Dawlish and back, no problem (I'm no spring chicken! 😂) , next day walked over the hill to Starcross, took the ferry to Exmouth in the worst downpour I know, still walked back though! 😁 Kathy was very helpful supplying an adaptor for the tap (sorry, forgot to take it back, hopefully it's still there) We were a little concerned about getting my MH up from the bottom of the field as there had been so much rain, however Kathy said there was a tractor on hand if needed, it wasn't. Looking forward to staying again when the weather is better. Thanks Kathy for a lovely stay and chat 😊

Beautiful peaceful location and a bargain!

Stayed many times summer 19 and for the price I don't see how anyone can complain when it's such a lovely place and such a low price. The TV RECEPTION IS PERFECT Kathy supplies to aerial hook up for every spot and it's best we've ever had. The sit is small so only ever a handful of you there and Kathy allows stacks of room per pitch so you will never have loads of noise to contend with or tripping over someone next to you! Kathy really is the perfect host and does everything she can to ensure your stay is pleasant. Several spots are level and even the unlovely one isn't that unlevel so ignore previous review! It's a simple but thoroughly enjoyable site. The view across fields is superb. And waking to it was a treat. Thank you Kathy for making us so welcome we'll be back xx

Pleasent Peaseful Site

This September was our fourth visit to Kimberly, for three weeks, where once again we received a warm welcome from Kathy. The site is peaceful and well kept and has views over the countryside with horses, cows and plenty of wild life. There are many walks from the site, to Dawlish Warren and then along the sea wall to Dawlish or into the countryside. The half hourly bus service is only five minutes walk, with buses to Exeter or Dawlish and further along the coast.Kathy has plenty of local knowledge and suggestions of places of interest to visit. We will be back again.

Great Location

We have been to this site on two previous occasions and have booked our third visit. The site as good transport links to Exeter or in the other direction to Teignmouth (with its long promenade and good beaches) or further down the line Newton Abbott with good shopping. On all occasions we have been met with a very warm welcome from Kath, who explains about the surrounding area and gives you leaflets to choose your own visits within the surrounding area. Since our first visit there has been a great improvement to the chemical waste area. Sainsbury supermarket is a one bus stop ride away from the site. It is a quite and peaceful site and excellent value for money.
